@@LifePlayDream most people have smells in their homes, bathrooms are the room that deals w/ those smells. If you don't have them maybe you're not human or maybe you use all types of store bought smelly products that pollute your air and change hormones in human and pet bodies. You can spend your money if you like, I choose not to and use healthier products. People that don't have breathing issues think like that but I can't afford to on many levels. BTW, many, many nurses around the world use vinegar for many purposes. So you just trashed them not me! and your reply tells more about you then we wanted to know. Have a nice day!

Obviously i know it depends on how good the items you have are, but lets say most of the items in your store are decent brands with atleast a 17-40% STR, about how many listings would one need to have daily sales? I just wanna know what others think is a good number so that i can have a goal to reach. Thanks!

This is personally a question I hate because it's nearly impossible to answer, off face value. There are just too many factors that can come into play for sell through. Category, price, quantity and item specifics all come into play. Like maybe you're sell Air Forces. Well, then you'd maybe only need to have only 40 listed to sell one per day. Or maybe you're selling chachkies. Then maybe you'd need 1,200 listed to sell 1 per day. Or maybe you have candles but you're asking $15 above the average. Then maybe you'd need 1,000 listed. Too many variables.

I guess i just wanna know what a lot of people say that number is for them specifically so that i can somewhat gage a number I can shoot for. Some may say they need 1k, others may say 500, some may need 100 but atleast it would give me some kind of idea to go off of

@@Tacticalsquid The standard is kind of for every 100 items you have listed, you have 1 sale per day. But again, that's kind of useless because it depends on what you sell and how you sell. Are you willing to wait to get the profit you're looking for, or are you just pushing volume, thus inflating your sell through? So maybe someone is blowing through inventory or picking up highly desired items and selling 4 per day, per 100 items. These are all questions or info that each individual person will know for their own business and business model. It all depends. For me personally, I have about 1,700 items but I sell 5 per day. That's good for me, because my average profit per item is around $37 and my ASP is $100. So...I know I'm not going to blow through a lot of inventory, because the majority of Ebay buyers are purchasing things under $30. I have to wait to get my money...or take less money (profit) on my investments. But I do this part time anyway. I don't need the money. This is just extra for me.

Just take the total cogs spent for year ... But the year end numbers have to make sense and be reasonable. Maintain the same reasonable range every year. If cogs is too much adjust and carry forward the excess Tax people just want to see reasonable and ordinary If you have software I guess you can do specific. Talk to accountant

Not if you use integrated ebay shipping. As soon as you purchase shipping the item gets marked as shipped. Then it's up to you to make sure that it gets to the post office but the customer sees it as shipped and already has the tracking number. Of course you don't want to be two days later just getting the item mailed. But let's say that you have one day shipping and you don't actually get the package mailed until the second day, the item is still considered shipped on time.
