@@user-mq3zv5qr7u still kind of sad though, referring to the original topic. Those German teams with high ambitions like Bayern, Dortmund, Schalke or Frankfurt regularly sell out their stadium (or they are RB Leipzig). Leverkusen does not need a bigger stadium at the moment, as long as they can't sell out the entire stadium for at least 90% of their home games. It would be insanely stupid from a financial point of view...
@binboybilly4 жыл бұрын
As a Bournemouth fan we definitely could have a much larger stadium, sold out pretty much every week for 5 years now so there's no shortage of demand. It's also a pretty larger catchment area, Bournemouth-Poole is the 16th largest urban area in the country and the nearest major club is Southampton which is 30 miles away. Also heading west the nearest league club is Exeter so that's a very large catchment area for potential fans.

@StefaanLeleu4 жыл бұрын
Club Bruges' stadium has a capacity of around 28000 and almost all of those seats go to season ticket holders. A new more accessible stadium would likely see an attendance of around 40.000-45.000. Plans are in the works to that end, but getting the permits to start building is not that easy.

Borussia Dortmund should be on this list. Averaging 80,000 from the 81,365 capacity over the last 6 seasons is a clear stat showing that the club can afford at least in spectator numbers that can be in a larger capacity stadium. (i may be incorrect for this) However I also remember ready this stat in the newspaper around June 2019, didn't Borussia Dortmund have to cut ~8,000 members as they did not go to 50% of the previous season games, so they could make room for new members on waiting lists. A 100,000 seater stadium would be more sufficient for the club and fans, and also future proofing the stadium capacity with room to expand in the future, if it was required.
