Southampton started the decade in league 1 after just coming out of administration. By 2012 were back in the Premier League, have qualified for Europe twice beating Inter Milan, have reached a major cup final in 2017 and an FA Cup semi final in 2018. I think we definitely deserve to be in this.

The thing to remember about Sheffield United is that they've done this without a mega-millionaire takeover, and with largely the same squad that won League 1. Basham, O'Connell, Stevens, Baldock, Norwood, Sharp and McGoldrick (amongst many others) have started League 1, Championship and Premier League games for The Blades, and the club are now challenging for Champions League

Imo SC Paderborn from Germany deserves a honorable mention as their decade was an absolute rollercoaster and defines Yo-Yo-club on an entire different level. Promoted into Bundesliga in 2014 for the very first time ever, but after that three back-to-back relegations in 2015, 16 and 17. However, their third relegation from third to fourth tier was negated as 1860 Munich were unable to obtain a 3.Liga license. So SC Paderborn could stay in 3.Liga for 2017/18 campaign. What follows are back-to-back promotions in 2018 and 2019 and as I'm writing this now, SC Paderborn is now part of the 1.Bundesliga again, which was unthinkable three years prior.

Dundalk - began the decade in lower half of Irish Premier Divison on brink of relegation and administration. Now have won 5 of last 6 LOI titles and numerous cups and even competed in Europa League Group Stages in 2016 (2nd Irish club ever to do so) after missing out on Champions League Group in play-off 3-1.

I really thought Atletico de Madrid wouldve been featured high up in this list tbh. Last decade they started it off in the spanish second division and it took them a couple of seasons to get bak to La Liga, where they were then terrible throughout most of the 2000s until Aguero and Forlan qualified them for the CL towards the end. Then they started the 2010s by winning the Europa League and the European Supercup in 2010 (first silverware since 1996), and when Simeone was appointed in 2011 they have gone on to win one La Liga title, one Spanish Cup title, one Spanish Supercup, 2 more Europa Leagues, 2 more European Supercups, and featured in 2 CL finals where they came within an inch of winning both. Not to mention they have played CL football in 9 out of 10 seasons and have had a European Golden Boot (Forlan) and 2 Ballon D'Or 3rd place finished (both Griezmann). Theyre currently giants of european football, top 8 for sure minimum. They were barely known outside of Spain during the 2000s. Aupa Atleti!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the 2010s they were relegated to the bottom division of scottish football fought back got relegated again then won 2 promotions in a row to reach the Premiership for the first time in 13 years. Have now defeated every single scottish professional club except for Gretna (now defunct) and Cove Rangers (previously highland league and only just promoted to pro league)
