“You don't need DMT”… this is just a silly, confusing statement since you are who you are and where you are now because of these experiences. It was all a part of your journey; there is no “you should” or “you shouldn't”. Everyone is unique. Peace & Love.

What we think is reality is not reality. The human experience is not real. In the matrix Morpheus says " How do you define "real"? If you're talking about what you can feel, what you can smell, what you can taste and see, then "real" is simply electrical signals intepreted by your brain..."

“I’m not supposed to have access to all that wisdom right now” brilliant. I could never put in words why I stopped. It made the mind and soul TOO FAST to be here and experience THIS REALITY. Sure it feels amazing to know, really know in your soul that you hold infinity inside you…. But, you don’t fit in your spot anymore! Coming down was always such a relief because everything fit again! This is MY SPOT. Only I belong here and we don’t belong out there. We can visit. We will return. But we will miss everything given to us in this life if we stay there. Brilliant analysis thanks!

I started with lsd and mushrooms at ages 13. I used them heavily for 20 years then started up again when I was unexpectedly introduced to dmt in December 2019. It was profoundly life altering . By March of 2020 I had tried legal ayahuasca in Kentucky. By May I was growing mushrooms. One year later I was in a Buddhist Monastery in Vermont for an 30 day apprenticeship. Did Ayahuasca again in In 2021 then flew to a legal resort in Mexico and did 5meo in 2022. I'm still microdosing once a week with and the occasional macrodose and just turned 60. I struggled with addiction all my life and been in a dozen rehabs. The last in 2014. Since 2019 psychdelics have been real harm reduction for me. I got sober again just before that first dmt journey and stayed that way for over a year. I've struggled since but got sober again last December with Ayahuasca and recently was able to go back to work driving after after 5 years and two back surgeries. Real tangible results over time. Thanks for reading this and thank you for this video! You're right I was definitely supposed to see this and grateful to you. ❤

I agree. I love psychedelics. But. I’ve also have come to the realization that all that I experience and learn during the trips is never really gone once I come back down to base reality. It’s like the saying “As above, so below”. You kind of come out of it realizing you are the same entity in the psychedelic headspace as you are in base reality. Before you take psychedelics you have these grandiose expectations of what’s gonna happen during and how you are going to come out of the experience and be but you realize that the thing you are searching for is already inside of you but to get that thing is to completely let go of trying to obtain it. After going through an introspective psychedelic experience you come out of it changed and yet nothing has changed. It’s simply a shift in perspective and perception that results in profound realizations that helps orient oneself in their experience of life to live with meaning and a purpose to give one’s life to others.

DMT is the only psychedelic where my normal thinking and reasoning could stay fully intact. Whereas mushrooms and LSD generally come with more emotional fluctuations. It's biggest gift to me was the ability to trust myself. I'm honestly amazed that I can still be a sane human on this earth after 100s of large doses, but after enough times I did notice some distinct patterns. As a little test I'd ask some entities that presented as omniscient beings really basic math questions that I knew I did not know the answer to. None of them could, they'd just smirk and disappear. It became pretty clear that even though I was intensely tripping, I still had the capacity for imagination and that's what the "presence" had been. Only 2 out of the hundreds of trips were utterly different, which was especially odd because the dosage was not increased at all. I have moved on from DMT now. No secret logical knowledge or truths can be brought back, its pure experience. I gave a tiny dose to a friend one time and it sent them to the psych ward. Take your own risks and don't assume it is a medicine for all minds.

My psychedelic journey was over a few years ago and I just ran across your video and I just want to say that this is a great video with a lot of dope insights and perspectives. You don’t need DMT, reality is the dopest trip, I felt that, my 7th or 8th DMT trip, about a year after my second 5MEO trip, while on DMT I interacted with a female, mother like energy who at first was so powerful and godlike that I got scored and in my trip I got on fetal position, and she told me, ahhhh, you’re still a baby, and the trip took a weird turn and I just felt loved and understood, felt like home, and she kept hugging me, loving me and told me, you don’t need this, you’re doing just fine and I’m happy and excited for you, I’m proud, you don’t need to come here anymore, and since then, I’ve never taken any psychedelics and I’ve been more present than ever before, I found peace with the idea of myself and my loved ones dying at some point because I have the deep believe that we’re all infinite. Thanks for sharing this man!

You are still a young man Tristan but your awareness is on par or beyond that of many people I've met who have been on their quest for many decades. As such, I agree with you that one doesn't need to take DMT or other strong hallucinogens but, let's face it, it DOES accelerate the awareness process…many times over. Yer, as for everything else, there is a price to pay when you accelerate so much: integrating it in a simple, grateful lifestyle can take a long and often painful time. Thank you for your clear explanation and for sharing the light of your consciousness. Bless you son. 🙏🏼

The thing with psychedelics is that people do then too often. Once or twice a year for a strong psychedelic (or once or twice a month for cannabis) teaches you a lot and is not overwhelming to integrate. DMT everyday for a month is really, really insane

I completely agree in the matter of alcohol. Psychedelics are great, one of the best means to human development, you learn a lot from then. Exactly for that reason it is problematic to do then too frequently, it's too much to digest, and you must digest, do some self-reflection, and integrate the experiences. Otherwise you run the risk of getting drown in amusement, loosing yourself and doing these drugs only recreatively, for the fun of it. This recreational use is frequently bad for your mental health and is not much more justifiable than using drugs that are bad for your body. These are powerful, powerful medicine.

Yeah, I wasn't considering lower doses when I wrote the answer. But still, I would not recommend doing it daily for anyone. It's too disrupting. I think the best use of DMT is more sporadic. Conversely, if you are going to do a drug everyday, small doses of DMT are probably the best after like, coffee ashausha. But it's generally recreational users who want to use shit every day and doing that to DMT sounds like toying with your soul. Best regards

“We’re always in a conversation with God.” As a Christian, this is really interesting. If everything I do is being observed by Him and if I know this, then everything I do is being communicated to Him. Everything he created (everything) is constantly reflecting patterns of His own creation back to itself. Beautiful

from psychonaut to psychonaut i couldn't agree more on the first point. What most people don't know (or for the sake of sour grapes, act oblivious to) is that you can get a psychedelic headspace and the introspective qualities through meditation. Reader, you don't have to go through the herculean task of hyperfocusing on one sense or feeling for 1 hour a day, just do 10 mins, and forgive yourself if you get sidetracked :)

hey man, I really vibe with your balanced take on life. It is refreshing to hear someone speak so honestly about psychedelics and their place in people's journey through life. It is a tool, like anything else can be, to help us become more aware of ourselves and thus connect more to our infiniteness. Anything in life can be that tool too. Anything in life can also distance us from that as well. It depends on how we use our God given awareness and what we choose to focus on. I am saying this from a place of still learning how to do that better! I love your ability to be real with all of this. Thank you.

Also, I use Psilocybin for depression... every 1-4 weeks. When I need a booster in between doses, that's when I break out a single 20-30mg dose of DMT, and I'm back in the moment in 10 minutes. The key is using it every couple of weeks, in a single moderate dose... don't chase brealthroughs. I was aphantasic before I had ak NDE... That occasional dose, has imcreased my ability to form mental pictures.

Thanks for sharing. Great advice as well. You talking about synchronicity reminded me of my limited DMT experience. The gist of it, ran across this guy I was friends with but haven’t spoken to in like 15 years, twice in 2 weeks. Very random spots I never go. We connected instantly on T McKenna and psychedelics. So we end up linking and he shared his stash with me. Wicked experience but that’s not what I’m here to talk about. The day after smoking with him I got a strong feeling/message saying that the beings I met in the experience were behind those synchronous events. So after work that day I went to a typical spot I go to ground and play guitar after work. I typically park in the same place but had a desire to change it up and parked a little further from my normal spot. Got out of the car and on the curb next to my rear tire had graffiti ‘DMT :)’

Tristan .. Educating the world on the Potential positive & life changing benefits of DMT along with outlying your experiences first hand is brilliant. I would love to continue my journey with DMT - I think it will take off in a massive way over the next few years. ❤ Thank you for your video .. I’ve used the expression in attempting to communicate the powerful effects of DMT To a unlikeable human ‘ I said ITS YOU, ME & DMT .. said with confidence using the knowledge - no one can escape their mind when experiencing the trip. They have refused to take me up on the offer. Which I confidently knew they wouldn’t. I am at peace with who I am, A good person. When there is evil. DMT has the reputation of breaking that person. Facing one’s self can put the absolute fear of god in some people ..& so it should. But then, who is he to judge ?! 🦋

I'm just wondering, would you have come to these realisations if you didn't do DMT in the first place? Because I think if you already had these realisations before first using then you wouldnt have done it. I used Changa through lockdown & I have to say my life changed in a major way for the highest good, integrated much of what I learnt through the experiences & now have no need for it. I think that's the purpose of psychedelics, to go within, change what needs to be changed & move forward in a different & more intentional way, they are a tool, a key to unlock parts of ourselves that we didnt know we needed to. They are not a recreational plaything. Just thought id add my bit 😁🧙‍♂️

Very well said, my friend. It's even written in a good book: be wary of those who lead you astray. As you mentioned, your shaman or teacher was more concerned with validating himself as a self-appointed shaman than with truly caring about you. Back in college, I experimented with acid and mushrooms and had my share of really bad trips. I received the same message: don’t mess with things you don’t understand. During one of those trips, a demon appeared to scare me away from shortcuts to knowledge. It became clear that the higher powers disapproved of my attempts to shortcut my way to understanding. As a result, I’m dealing with these bad trips. I turned heavily to alcohol to cope with the flashbacks and residual damage from the trips. It was through alcohol withdrawals and crossing the line into delirium tremens that I experienced a spiritual awakening. Synchronizations began occurring, and the same message you mentioned started echoing in my mind: everything you need is in reality. It took 25 years of heavy drinking to start listening to my spiritual self. By the way, if you’ve never experienced delirium tremens, thank God you haven’t. It is the most horrifying, realistic trip you could ever imagine. Just ask any alcoholic who has gone through this experience; it puts any bad trip to shame. You can find plenty of accounts of this on KZfaq. In a joking way, I would remind myself to take it slow. Ever since then, I’ve found peace within myself. I no longer need alcohol or drugs to gain knowledge. It's all here. We just need to be aware and study our surroundings. The universe is around us.

The depiction of Jesus as a white person is a result of artistic interpretation and cultural influences over time. It is important to note that Jesus was born in the Middle East, and historically, people from that region have a different physical appearance than what is typically portrayed in Western art. The exact physical features of Jesus are not described in the Bible, so it is difficult to determine his specific ethnicity or skin color.

Def resonated bro. I think it would be helpful if you shared more of your experiences. I’ve done many different psychedelics many different times and my last “medicine” of choice is was ketamine. I feel you what you said about discernment. Something was telling me it was ok to do it as often as I did but my body would take a day or two. Even more to recover. I’m almost a month off of it and staying strong. I’m clean off heroin and alcoholic. I have heavy trauma I’ve dealt with. I have memories of my soul team. I came here w 5 others. Anyway. I learned some things from your video and your sharing helped me out. And I’m sure you have much more to share. Thanks

Thank you so much for sharing your experiences! It'll be great to dive deeper into Lesson No. 2. - I also experienced that, but still can't believe in the eternity of the soul or consciousness since I explain it to myself like: Yeah for sure, the Ego dies, therefore it feels like real dying, but my brain is still intact so I'm not fully dead and my consciousness is still on. If one could understand what I mean. Like the pure fact of my ego dying and I'm still able to be aware, doesn't convince me because my body and my brain is still alive even when my ego dies.
@TrisPalms
@TrisPalms 2 ай бұрын
The ego lives in the brain and since we don't need the ego anymore we can turn that off, the real intelligence and knowing comes from the body. When you connect to the infinite wisdom of your body, what does your intuition tell you about death?

10:51 same thing happened to me, I lost my job at Walmart. I smoked dmt before my shift and quite my job. Posted embarrassing posts on social media embarrassed my girlfriend and broke up with her. Told my boss I smoked weed and everyone at work should too. I lost everything and was very embarrassed and ashamed of how I acted. My personality changed and I moved out of state, lived in an RV had no plumbing and went to a 24 hour gym to shower and use the bathroom. I worked at a job for my uncle that didn’t care about me. I hit rock bottom and moved back and I got a better job. Im happier to be with my family. I lost everything but I gained gratitude. I can go on about my sob story but I’m not sad. It feels like the weeds were pulled out of my garden. I gained more experience and know what it’s like being unwanted not having anyone. I realize why people cut the dead leaves off a tree, so more leaves can grow.

When I started my psychedelic journey around 8/9 years ago, I used to talk with my mother about my experience. She helped me to understand, that you can't fully take the conclusion in, without knowing how to get there just by your own. With this kind of short cut, you will always lack the wisdom about how to reach whatever point. The difficulties and effort you need to take in order to fully grow on any subject cant be avoided. As you mentioned, your consciousness cant keep track with the speed and amount of information you give it while tripping. You'll always need to give yourself time to rethink and evaluate your experience afterwards. If you learn to do so properly, eventually you wont feel the need anymore to get your groth out of psychedelics. It sure can help, but only up to a certain point. Like taking the elevator to the upper floor but then still needing to take the stairs/ladder to the roof top.
