This is so good!!!!! I remember years ago when you and David were starting out and you had a simple box that u covered with a white cloth that you set for a table , and you still decorated and used candles and it was lovely. You’ve come so far, but the old days proves you really know what you’re talking about. You have a wonderful sense of style. You deserve all the success

The minimalist life chose me, in my case. As a nomad, the stuff I own have steadily decreased over the years, mainly for practical reasons. Now I have a deeper appreciation for minimalist homes. Coming from the tropics, I also love wood. When I have my own place one day, the Nordic style is how I want to decorate my house.

I love the design that you are discussing particularly the lighting issue. However, the problem I have run into is how to actually do this practically. A video discussing lighting design maps for each potential room would be helpful. Like for example the bathroom....how? The kitchen? I would love your advice for each specific room in the house and how you might tackle them.

This is something that interior designers study! In the bathroom having sconces on either side of the mirror and a directional ceiling light that hits the wall opposite the mirror. Currently builders put a light in the shower ceiling and a light/fan combo over the toilet. Some designers like to put a pendant hanging light: it depends on what your preferences are and concept your going for!

I love the minimalist aspect of this style, but personally like more color. I definitely want to play with more light sources. I always tell my husband we need "AMBIENCE"! 😄

Really love Nordic style. Have always practiced minimalism where possible. Now have nothing but painted white wood furniture...some old, some new, but white walls and furniture. Love white. Even have painted mirror frames white and put those on walls instead of pictures. Only one frame remains black because it was expensive and I love the contrast as it is in the entry hallway over a white piece of furniture and with a smaller white framed textured mirror just leaning on the corner of it from the white bureau below with a beautiful glass piece in jade green the only other thing sitting on the white bureau besides the mirror. A visitor recently loved it so much that she took a picture of my living room.

I'm quite new to the channel, but I love your content! I'm from Norway, and since late autumn and winter are right around the corner I was wondering if you could do a video on how to dress without freezing and getting sick every other week? It rains A LOT, and I find it very hard to dress fashionably when it's both cold and wet outside. I, as many others, also go to school and therefore often end up just wearing a hoodie and sweats because it's comfortable and easy to layer under a raincoat..

Love this! I am guilty turning on the ceiling lights, haha. I have been meaning to get some more lamps - I feel like the autumn/winter is a good time anyway to experiment with this, since I will be indoors more. Also: La Boule - what a great concept!

I absolutely love your design-inspired videos, Jenny. They are beautifully made and so...soothing, I think that describes it best for me. Also, FYI: Villeroy & Boch is a brand originally from Luxembourg (their initial factory is just opposite my home, actually) although they are German nowadays. It's however still THE Luxembourg brand (and we are still very proud of it) and they have been putting a lot of effort into the brand lately to make their design more modern & timeless. So I was super excited to see the brand appear in one of your videos !!

Not sure, but wasn't at least the Villeroy part (one of the name givers, the Guy who created the brand together with Boch) French? Don't know about Boch tough. And wasn't their first factory together in (then) France (Germany today) and they soon had their headquarter in Germany (where it's been since what, 17something)? I don't know nor do I really care, but I would hesitate to call that at Luxembourgish brand, unless I got some of this mixed up - don't wanna start a fight, just thinking loudly, lol.

I want to one day live in Sweden since my moms part of the family came from Sweden and my family tried to keep the traditions but they got old since they were my grandma’s grandparents who came so since they were so old my grandma stopped it
