Discover the signs you’re eating too much sugar. Number 1 will surprise you!
0:00 Introduction: The classic side effects of sugar
0:15 Sugar vs. carbohydrates
3:12 7 signs you’re eating too much sugar
4:59 The #1 sign you’re eating too much sugar
In this video, we’re going to talk about some of the side effects of consuming too much sugar. Some of the well-known side effects of sugar include fatigue, brain fog, belly fat, carb cravings, and cavities.
Is there a difference between sugar and carbohydrates? A carbohydrate consists of sugar, fiber, and starch. Starches are called polysaccharides, meaning many sugars or multiple sugar molecules connected together. Starches raise blood sugar levels significantly more than sugar.
Starches like maltodextrin, modified food starch, and modified corn starch have a much higher glycemic index than sugar.
Here are 7 surprising signs that you’re consuming too much sugar:
7. Reduced collagen
Reduced collagen will result in loose, wrinkled skin and premature aging.
6. Chronic white tongue
Candida from too much sugar will cause you to have a white tongue. You won’t be able to get rid of it without eliminating sugar from the diet.
5. Chronic sinus problems
Most chronic sinus problems are caused by a fungus called Aspergillus that feeds on sugar.
4. Red or pink gums
Red or pink on your toothbrush after brushing could signify a mild case of scurvy or vitamin C deficiency. High sugar consumption blocks vitamin C.
3. Low testosterone
Low testosterone can cause erectile dysfunction, decreased libido, and difficulty building muscle.
2. Susceptibility to infection
Too much sugar can weaken your immune system, making you more vulnerable to infection.
1. High adrenaline levels
Too much sugar damages the cell’s ability to make energy in the mitochondria. To compensate, the body produces more adrenaline.

"ADHD SYMPTOMS!" 🔥 One day I was laughed at by a college graduate because I misspelled the word "fruit!" 😂 He said a poison called adderall might help. After I explained that it's not an option for me because I understand how junk like that, lyrica, seroquel, etc., are highly toxic to the brain, and how they affect the catecholamine pathway... he was in awe! Since I've stopped eating sugar and started taking Body Health Perfect Amino, the ADHD symptoms have gone away! 🙂 Thank you, Dr. Berg! Happy Mother's Day to all of the great Moms out there! ❤

Me too, pretty much my whole life and really got bad as I aged. I'd wake up and blow wads of blood boogers most mornings. I went keto for a year and and half and my sinuses greatly improved. Then I went carnivore a few months ago and they are gone. I do still drink on occasion and bam, next morning back to bad sinuses. Fortunately not nearly as bad each time being less and less and they clear up by the end of the day.

I'm 64 5'10 173 and still pumping iron, I went from 205 to 173 and I now allow myself some peanut butter cups on the weekend. I actually break them up into crumbs and eat them slowly to enjoy them. Yes, it sounds funny but it has kept me from going back to my old diet of desserts every night and cereals, pies, cakes, cookies, ice-cream and brownies. That last revelation about 'anxiety' being linked to constant feelings of fight or flight and adrenaline is spot-on, and it's something I had never realized before. Despite being deeply invested in weightlifting, I was pretty clueless about my diet, especially when it came to consuming bread for carbs. Little did I know, white bread essentially breaks down into sugar, and it was this sugar intake that was triggering my adrenaline spikes and perpetual fight or flight mode. Almost 24/7, no less! After experimenting with fasting and later transitioning to a carnivore diet, I've managed to restore balance in my life. I'm now heavier, but more importantly, healthier than ever before. I've achieved a steady state of symbiosis and homeostasis. I feel clear-headed, focused, strong, and have regained control over my sleep patterns. My ability to concentrate has improved dramatically, all because I've significantly cut back on sugar. Huge thanks to Dr. Berg for shedding light on this! - A shoutout from a guy in his 20s, feeling better than ever!

5. Chronic sinus problems Most chronic sinus problems are caused by a fungus called Aspergillus that feeds on sugar. 4. Red or pink gums Red or pink on your toothbrush after brushing could signify a mild case of scurvy or vitamin C deficiency. High sugar consumption blocks vitamin C. 3. Low testosterone Low testosterone can cause erectile dysfunction, decreased libido, and difficulty building muscle. 2. Susceptibility to infection Too much sugar can weaken your immune system, making you more vulnerable to infection. 1. High adrenaline levels Too much sugar damages the cell’s ability to make energy in the mitochondria. To compensate, the body produces more adrenaline.

Sugar is the number one enemy.
@lepersonnage371

Is sugar replacement (stevia) a good thing to use? and also i'd like to ask an important thing. Drinking sweet drinks or smoking is associated not just with a habit, but with kind of a ritual, like when i go from work i usually take a drink to smoke with, and i find that it's not that much about wanting sugar or wanting to smoke, but about that ritual of it. How to break these rituals? because without them the day feels empty or incomplete.
@tradermunky1998
@tradermunky1998 11 күн бұрын
The easiest way imo to replace bad habits is put a better one closer to the ultimate goal in it's place, even if it's not as enjoyable at first. Baby steps, and be ok you may take a step backwards at times, just dust yourself off and keep moving forward. So in your case, pick one break each day you take and just take a walk instead. It will probably be a little difficult at first, but muster through it. When you are completely comfortable doing that one walk, add a second walk on a second break and repeat until your ritual is now taking walks on your break. I also replaced sugar with stevia like this and now the taste of sugar to me is acidic and metallic, kind of nasty frankly as it overpowers the sweetness. Now I'm even slowly getting rid of the stevia.
@lepersonnage371
@lepersonnage371 11 күн бұрын
@@tradermunky1998 I also started getting just a little bottle of normal water instead of a sweet drink, so that makes the ritual stay but without sugar
@tradermunky1998
@tradermunky1998 11 күн бұрын
@@lepersonnage371 Perfect! I also smoked from the age of 14 till around 46 and also quit that using the same sort of method. I first went high nic salts, very important to get over the cigarette hump. I started out only vaping in certain circumstances, using vape only in the car, or whatever, essentially setting aside a time where I would vape instead of smoke. The real high nicotine will over time make the craving for vape naturally be greater than a cigarette and I dumped the cigarettes. Then I slowly whittled down the nicotine level and went zero flavors, halving it each time I was comfortable. After a halving I would vape ferociously, but it would always decrease and go back to regular vaping level and when I was comfortable I would halve it again. Starting at 25 mg of nicotine I got down to 2 mg of nic salt. And then I had a day where I just didn't care if I vaped or not and just quit easily. Took a few years, but I had failed so many times before and it was so much easier this way.
