I liked Cole but i loved Delsin's smoke trick where he could go from the ground to the top of a building through an air vent in a second.

Terminal Sarcasm Yeah, he's abilities were really cool. But bringing down the thunder in and using the dual shock motion sensor to move the devastating lighting strikes to just absolutely ERASE enemies, is still one of the most satisfying moment of gaming. Plus the ending of inFAMOUS 1 is the best ending in a video game I've still ever seen.

what about missing Shep in ME 4? I guess nothing was going to save that game for some people, so it wouldn't have mattered. But I would've enjoyed a prequel Shep adventure or something. Or just rebuild him again somehow or clone him and send him to Andromeda. I guarantee many people would've enjoyed the game at least a little bit more. I know it's a dumb idea, but I still would've found a way. It just would've made the game a little better.

I enjoyed second son, and the move variety is actually much better than infamous 1 and 2 as they literally had the the choice of shooting lighting or shooting exploding lighting.. or homing shot lightning lol. In second son, switching between powers does help in different enemy encounters. BUT, I will say the actual overall experience was less enjoyable despite having better everything for 3 reasons. 1.) Skill: while in infamous there was a level of skill needed to parry projectiles or use the proper abilities against certain enemies. Second son offers so much variety in the move set that skill isn't a necessary factor. You could parry rockets, or snipe long range heavy enemies, OR you could just turn into a ball of concrete and run people over lol. The game had amazing action set pieces but the immense combat deck made encounters easier as the game unfolded. much like prototype but prototype was far more clever about it. 2.) Lack of use. Not only did Delsin have a huge range of moves, he also only had a need for about.. a third of them. There were many moves just clearly superior to others and while the same could be said about cole, coles abilities had a cost to power ratio that made conserving power necessary. Delsin can switch between OP concrete to Super fast neon at any time and conserve his energy relatively easily. Meaning moves like smoke teleporting or digital swords are cool to look at but ultimately useless in comparison to his other powers. 3.) Regeneration: Finding an electrical source in infamous 1 and 2 was key to successful combat and often times movement was just as important as fighting. Grinding on wire makes aiming difficult but your electric supply is infinite. In second son, it's a constant bloodbath where outlets to fuel your powers are more specific and harder to manage. Smoke mostly had vents which are difficult to locate in a pinch, you could absorbe grenade blasts which was probably the coolest and most useful but thats it. There was no synergy between managing your power and dealing damage so it felt flat and repetitive.
