Weird story I had about a year ago I used to be really really shy and insecure. At the same time, I liked this one girl in my class. She was the hottest girl I've ever seen in person. Oddly enough, there were some slight signs that showed that she liked me but I can't confirm 100%. A few months later, I slowly started to get less shy and less insecure (but I still had some of that in me). I would occasionally try to converse with her, but it would usually go nowhere because of my bad hearing and my self-message judging (having an idea in your head but never saying it). This is the part where I messed up REAL bad When I really started to show progress in my confidence (it still wasnt as high) She ended up throwing more and more hints at me. The worst part is that I overlooked them thinking she does that with literally everyone. Then one day, she broke up with her boyfriend right in front of me (via text) and I finally realized that she liked me. This happened so suddenly that I couldn't think straight. I'd usually get a bit nervous when she's around but THIS was the most I've ever felt. That anxiety of saying the "wrong thing" ended up making me say the wrong things. I then thought that it was too late, and that she'd probably be already dating someone else. Unexpectedly, she gave me her phone number the next day. I felt like I finally had a chance, but I had literally no idea what to text her, no idea what to even do when we get back to school. This again, made me mess up. Weeks later, she started dating someone that looks almost exactly like me and has nearly the same personality as me. Although I was jealous at first, I realized all my mistakes and missed opportunities. I was thinking too much about things that might happen, thinking about what others will think of me, and too little about these moments that just happened. I swore that day that if I ever get an opportunity like that again, I'm WILL take it. TLDR; I liked girl, girl liked me but I barely realized, regret

Best thing that helped me when I’d get nervous around girls is to focus on her. Just genuinely be interested in her and what she has to say and just listen. Girls love talking about themselves so that’s an easy way for her to feel heard and to take the pressure off you. Then once you’ve learned about her, you can use that to start more conversation 👍🏻 keep it up Jose! You’re one of my biggest inspirations for my channel!
