My ioniq 5 also has a functional grill (at the bottom). It opens and closes depending on whether it wants cooling. Basically the same car as this one.

Great video. Sam is one of the best. Whatever the situation, the content's brilliant. Apologies to those who like it. I thought that the car was, at best, described as ghastly. No doubt the drive is good. Which it should be for the money. It had all the style of a Greggs sausage roll. Vegan or otherwise.

Great video as always To the car, dream stuff unless you have an enormous bank balance. For daily use. at leas tin London. Size will likely be an issue - its longer and wider than the parking bays. So, even perfectly parked your going to get tickets by the bucket load...... Yup if one can buy the car, one can afford the fines but the hassle involved is likely too much for someone busy enough to be able to afford one.....

I love the car love the colors inside and out, but one this I think they missed was the color of the seatbelts. If your going to be bold with other elements having them purple change the belts as well

Amazing to get this STG !!!! On trial. Seen one in Alderley riding past. Does look like old Phantom Coupe in form factor. Aha. Watching video. You mentioned it. That and the fact listened POD other day and probably said it there too. What a chunk of car. Purple really suits it. Brightens up the UK a little

Never thought I’d want a Roller. ……Until now. I’ve watched loads of videos about the Spectre. This is the best and now I’ve finally decided I want one. However, in common with other “ I want” cars, I’ll never have enough to justify the cost and my life style wouldn’t know what to do with it. Maybe just looking at I and sitting in it would be enough!

I enjoyed driving my 2010 Phantom Coupe which was compared to the spectre about 13cm longer but 3 cm narrower... the size would shrink around you

I sat in one of these at Salon Prive last year and I was shocked they left the indicator stalk and gear selector finished in plastic. Every other review of this car, including this one, has shown it is like this in all the cars. Rolls Royce even managed to wrap and stitch leather around them except for the part you actually touch. I'm probably not in any position to complain as I am in no position to buy one but you cant help but feel disappointed that they missed a detail.

Looks perfect as a EV - only negative I could throw would be the interior, very little change from a 2010 Ghost.. would have thought RR might have updated / been slightly braver.. perhaps look at the Bentley Continental interior as a comparison, far more tech, details & design flare.

Nice thumbnail! ....I drove right past you as you were setting up the camera. I'm lucky enough to live on the private estate. Tbh, I was full of mock and scorn as I drove by. A purple roller?! Now I know....makes more sense for a press car. I can appreciate the colour but it's pretty lairy. Couldn't believe it when I saw the thumbnail! I would have stopped briefly to say hi. Been watching for years. FYI, there are some even better thumbnails to be had on the other side of the lake. If you're down this way again, feel free to reach out. But anyway, great review. Air suspension was defo the way forward on the roads around here!

Ah yes, the most unbelievable, most spectacular EV released to this day. 🧐💜 This car is a masterclass in how to make the transition to EV. No futuristic or techy nonsense, just do what you have been doing to this day just with batteries instead of with petrol :)

One pedal driving is the best thing about EV’s otherwise the power trains are exceedingly well suited to town driving and are otherwise completely characterless in whatever application they’re used. Although the Hyundai N jobby is apparently doing a good job of trying to fix that

The really nice thing about EV's is that they don't require the kind of maintenance that an ICE car does, and I remember a lot of people saying that's why they don't like the other RR cars. No oil change, no transmission to deal with. I think that's its biggest selling point over the others.

@@gregorygant4242 $100k? Yeah, I mean this is RR. I was talking about EV's in general. I have a Tesla Model Y and it's only like $12k at most, which I don't ever anticipate having to replace mine unless I keep it for 20 years.
