If you thought the .68 Cal. diabolo slugs were big, take a gander at these full-bore slugs. This is probably the first time you've heard or seen these slugs. The diabolo shape is self-stabilizing, meaning they function well without a spin.

Good gawd. I had a kidney stone in September 2018 and it totally phucked me to hell and back for five whole weeks. The pain was beyond description! Surgical intervention was required. Best wishes for a calm & uneventful recovery.

You guys should load Danny's gallstones up in a shotshell and fire them into the ballistic gel. Who knows, gallstones may be ballistically superior to standard buckshot!!! JK LOL I had to have my gallbladder removed back in 2012 due to stones so I feel Danny's pain. Great job guys. As always I enjoyed the testing, that slab of concrete was impressive!

G'day, I doubt that they'll fit into the Shell, due to the unavoidable Voids, the Air-Gaps between the waisted-Cylindrical shapes - though sticking the point of one Projectile up the Conical Cavity of the one in front of it might help a bit...(?). My guess is that in such a case, the Shock Acceleration of firing may "weld" the columns of Pellets into "Sticks of Lead", like the manner in which the Bum-Fodder was inextricably punched up the Butt-Holes of them-there Big-Arsed Dia-Bolos from Denver in Oz...(?) ! A friend of mine worked as an operator at a coal fired power plant. The boiler would get what they called clinkers on the tubes of the boiler. It was impurities in the coal that did not burn when they were blown into the fire box and would stick to the tube. The coating caused the slow down of the heat exchange. They found that a shotgun was the best way to knock the clinkers off the tubes. They uses a 12 ga 3inch mag Remington pump shotgun I think he said one 4th of July the demand for power was so high the shot up all the 12ga ammo in our little town and sent people to parts of WV, Eastern Ky, and southern Ohio and then flew someone to Lexington Ky. to get more ammo. My old friend said they used that gun and put more than 1 million rounds thru it. He was so impressed with it he bought one of them for himself.

Mr Whipple was an actor named Dick Wilson. He was a customer of mine in the mid 90s ... He was truly a nice guy that loved to talk about acting. He once told me that he's "just an actor" .. but he couldn't imagine doing anything else. He used to say that the Charmin commercials were the hardest acting gigs of them all.

All out for Danny's recovery. The Diabolo configuration , as stable as it is was intended for use in a rifled barrel. Your test is a testament ( no pun ) to it's natural stability but not to it's design or intent. Add a choke with rifling and enjoy the show. Thanks for the video!

no welded wire in the concrete :) concrete has good compressive strength but without reinforcement not so good tensile strength

O.G. and Jeff, thank you for another informative and entertaining video. I hope Danny heals up quickly and easily; gall bladder problems suck. Mine shut down on me a few years back, (I think it's called biliary dyskinesia) and the post surgery shoulder pain was worse than the problem itself.

You can pass on my prescription to Danny for taking care of those pesky gallstones, just drink a little sulfuric acid once a week and it keeps them dissolved ! 😊 That slug looks like it might be good to use if you happen to have a rhinoceros breaking in your house, WOW, what a hitter ! 😳👏 Thanks for sharing and take care. 👍

TAOFLEDERMAUS it's from BabyBallistics .com... lol, btw I'm creating a new Facebook account so I can get in touch to send u these few brass slugs (with stainless penetrator OR nail gun accuator, ur choice) & strings of lead wound together wrapped in a skin (snake-bolo). My brother works recertifying liferafts and these items are all recycled from "globally acceptable marine grade products" so we're told. The slugs fit a 20ga but are extremely heavy and have a hollow base so will prob need a sabot of some sort, I just used the top of a .20ga hull but I'm sure u can do better!

I hope that these slugs eventually go on sale and maybe you guys can shoot one through a smooth bore and one through a rifled barrel to see the difference. Props to OG for the pain and to Danny.... Tell the nurses to treat you extra well because you are a star!
