Man has dressed to color match with the earphones, lol. That's a cool touch! It's a beautiful color scheme. Love the dark grey/black and orange combination and O wish it was used more. It's just 👌. These IEM's are the best below $50 for a few readons, and are one of the best tuned sets ever, regardless of price. There was indeed an issue in the treble (a resonance somewhere around 13 kHz, and these are not easy to mitigate via EQ; the upper mids and lower treble were also too forward relative to lower mids and bass) with the original Zero, and that was the main thing keeping them back. And if you still like to EQ them, they're easy to drive and have very little distortion (less than my Moondrop Variations, IIRC), so there'll be ZERO problems. A must have item, basically. It's funny that you didn't like the new cable, since it's supposed to be one of the improvements to the set.

Haha totally did that by accident. Totally agree these are pretty great and wonderfully tuned. I need to play with them more. Maybe the cable will grow on me 😀

@@Enigmafotos Just a happy little accident then) I wish these were at least somewhat more elegant in their design. Would have been great as little presents to introduce people to good sound, but alas the looks might make them underappreciated. Especially by females, I think. Even something like Truthear Hola is way better in this regard. Speaking of which, I see you've done a review on those. Quite curious what you have to say about them and how do they compare to Zero 2. Regarding the cable... I don't think it'll grow on you. Never had that happen to me, personally. And the stock cable for Variations, for example, I only hate more and more with each time I use them, even after 1,5 years. 😂 Who knows, though.

brother please teach me how to EQ the original zero, the trebles are hard for noisy music
@Enigmafotos5 ай бұрын
@@baushun332 what are you connecting them too?
@juanblanco78985 ай бұрын
@@baushun332 I can suggest you two approaches. One is going to be easier but with limited effectiveness and some negative side effects, while the second one is going to a bit of a hassle and can get somewhat tedious but will have more positive effects & less negative effects. There's also a third solution, which I strongly recommend over the other ones if it's possible. That is to buy a Zero 2. I'll write the first two down for you sometime later, 'cause I'm quite exhausted at the moment.

Great video. How do the Zero 2's compare to moondrop chu 2? Which one would be better for media consumption?
@Enigmafotos7 ай бұрын
Hey! Chu 2 have more of a v shaped tuning. While the Zero 2 has the bass boosted but the rest is flat and smooth. Media consumption would be a toss up for me. Just depends on which tuning you like better.

I agree! The originals were tuned a little to hot for me, and the type of music I listen to. Too much sizzle in the high end. They sounded great, but could be very fatiguing. The bass on the Zero 2 has been lifted 3db, and the mids are nice and mellow. The treble has been toned down more to my liking. I listened to all types of music, but prefer jazz and blues. With the new tuning, if you like jazz and blues, the Zero 2s work well!

💯 my man! Yes they do sound great with jazz and blues.
