Just a bit of constructive criticism for Lance. He is WAAYYY to scared of falling. Thats why he always seems to kick out when doing stairs. Once you realize that falling is inevitable and wont kill you your horizons will widen tremendously. Look at Fetty and Vinnie they eat it constantly because they fully commit yet they are better because of it.

Aubrey Baker once you eat it so many times it will stop being as scary and build a tolerance to it, something that lance hasn't done yet lol

Aubrey Baker. The reason Hes scared of falling is because Hes an older man skateboard is way much easier when you start at young age cus falling is less much painful when you fall when your older its way much more painful so that is the problem with lance scientifically he is progressing like he should either hell outcome the fear of actually committing and get less chances to get hurt or stairs won't be his thing and stick to ledges and tec I think either is tight but the badass thing he ain't tryna be pro or nothing he sounds like he has aloha fun just skating and learning knew tricks and that's what its about

He's also 6'1" and probably like 200 lbs, where Vinnie is like 5'6" and 120. Vinnie seems to have a naturally acrobatic build

I'm a beginner at 50! Thanks for the inspiration Braille! I have messed around on a 7.75, 8 and 8.38. I can't ollie or kick flip YET, but I noticed a huge difference in weight and ease in which you can flick the board 180(like a no comply flick) when using my 7.75 and 8. Sure the bigger boards have more surface area to land on but they are harder to flip around. I had an 8.5 last summer when I just started and it felt like a tank so I moved down to my 8. Just skate what feels good and keep pushing! p.s. Increments of an eighth to a quarter of an inch is not much but it IS all about feel.

I bought a 7.25 because I thought it would be easier to control but it was my biggest $100 mistake. I should’ve gone with 8.25 especially as im a size 10 and just want to ride
