8-bit 80's #1 - Money for Nothing

Күн бұрынThis is entry #1 of my 8-bit 80's series, where I will be translating popular 80s songs into an 8-bit video game style.
This was a standard MIDI file with the instruments changed to simulate the audio rendering capabilities of the NES. The DPCM sound channel of the NES was not represented here. All sounds are derived from square waves, triangle waves, and white noise ran through various ADSR envelopes.
**NOTE: The bass channel may be hard to hear without adequate speakers.**

Although they kept calling it shit and were making fun of it... I personally like it though; it's added by NuclearCraft btw. One thing to note that the original song has homophobic lyrics if such things bother you.

You should make an 8-bit version of Everybody Wants to Rule the World by Tears for Fears.

I wouldnt say this is lame compared to the original. However, it is so far different from the original, yet so the same. Keep it up

Hi, it sounds good... the only thing I would do is raise the octave on the bass (listen to some NES songs, most of them have pretty damn high bass).... also, I would advise trying to think in the 1 Tri, 2 pulse, 1 noise, and 1 WAV format.... which limits your polyphony to the original
