My first bike, a Yamaha SR400 with less than 2,000 miles on it, had the bolt back out that secures the shifter to the pinion on the highway at speed. Ever since I've been checking bolts religiously and go through bottles of Loctite like it's Frank's RedHot.

My old 03 r6 had a bent fuse crammed in the starter relay, worked for the first 3 weeks then one day she idled rough for the first 2 starts and then the dash flashed and shut off after 15mph. I was so glad it was just a fuse and It happened first start before I left.

I am bad on my brakes piston checks as well as tire pressure. Damnnn no I guess I should go check. My new Honda needs new front bearings for sure. Damn I guess I’ll strip that frame down to take it in. Bearing pressure is not cheap it seems.

@@adobomoto oh that’s not the problem, I’ll pull it apart no problem it’s I don’t have the proper tools to pull the bearing. If I can get it off with a chisel I will but not at the risk of the stem. The only work a shop would do is the press work. I do 99% of all work myself on most of my toys and house. I may even buy the puller and press depending on cost.

Another advice to check the head bearing is put the front in mid aur with your side kick stand and try to feel and hard points in your turning left to right if its smooth butter then gotta change

I found my front sprocket loose - not because the boly was loose but the concave Belleville washer (which is supposed to act like a spring clamp when torqued) was used too many times and had become too flat. Dudes check this on all your RSV4R and Tuono's

Just had forks rebuilt and while they were in there I told them to make sure that the race's were greased and right ✅️ ➕️ new brakes and fluid ‼️👀 the whole bike was looked over 👀➕️ new coolant in 👍👌 38,800 miles in 4.5 years 👌👍

Don't laugh bought an H2 in 2015. First service my shop noted steering head bearings were not torqued correctly. Pretty unsat for a 25K bike.

Riding without a front sprocket cover, wouldnt you be afraid your pants would get stuck and sucked up. Imagine your leg in there oh no. Anyway i think you know what you’re doing
