X-Men '97 is produced by Marvel Studios Animation, with DeMayo as head writer for the first two seasons and Jake Castorena as supervising director.

Cable is Scott Summers and Madeline Pryor’s son, not Jean Grey’s son. Even though Madeline was a clone she didn’t get the phoenix power like Jean.
