I shower and wash my hair both morning and night. Cool shower in the morning and warm shower at night. I just find that when i shower first thing in the morning im more energetic, and warm showers at night calms me down and helps me sleep better.

I love the idea of 15 minute workouts! I keep thinking i need to do so much more and that feels overwhelming after chasing my 16 month old all day 😅. How do you decide what excercises to do in those 15 minutes that will actually be effective? ❤

Yes whenever you put that pressure on yourself that you feel like you need to do the longest best workout ever actually creates more anxiety and then you don’t end up working out at all so I always find it better to take a approach with less pressure and do quicker workouts! Since the workouts are only 15 minutes long,I focus on ones that are full body for the most part because then I can hit all muscles all over the body in a short period of time!!

Amy, when you speak on welllness you are speaking my language. You touched on so many things I include in my routine. The walks have been my saving grace to clear my head, stay active and shed the lbs. Mental and physical health go hand in hand. I love matcha as well. I've opted to drink matcha mostly instead of coffee. I'm down to 2 cups of coffee a week because of it. The benefits of matcha are amazing. The workout plan 👍🏽My only struggle is my sleep schedule. 2 days a week I work in the office where I'm up at 415am and out the door by 6am, the other 3 days I WFH. I'm up btwn 5 & 530am to start work at 7am. Depending on what I have going on or need to do, i go to bed at different times. I have to work on that. TFS Girl and keep these videos coming 🫶🏽😁🏃🏽‍♀️🥤

Yes! Amy, was the hypothyroidism a special test your doctor did or was it included in the regular routine bloodwork? When you named the symptoms, I was like, that sounds like me!

That production value though! 👀💘 As a SAH working mom I loved the portion of the 15 minute workouts, I totally agree! I would love to see you make a video dedicated to the target workouts you do! I don't have time to spend an hour in the gym anymore and gotta do things quickly.

Great tips but I was lost with the hair loss. It would take months to see a difference as hair shedding has a natural 4-6mth cycle. Which is why it often occurs months after child birth or other stresses like surgery. We notice hair loss when this natural process of shedding speeds up.

I can only tell you my experience and I was not losing nearly as much hair once I started taking vitamin d and got on my thyroid medication. Before the vitamin d and thyroid medication, I was literally losing hand fulls of hair each day I brushed my day. After the vitamin d and thyroid medication, I was only losing small amounts when I would brush my hair, wash my hair, etc.

I can’t drink so much water because it makes me pee and I get only one 10 minute break during my 8 hours shift. So I usually don’t drink at all since I wake up till 3 pm

That’s because when you utilize a muscle you gain blood flow and inflammation in that area that slowly dissipates. Most people generally call it a “pump.”

@@nannoreul see that’s not what I’m talking about though and that’s why I never say it out loud cause no one understands what I mean. It’s hard to explain but it’s like I build muscle really quick but then it atrophy’s just as quick

Hi amy, may I ask why you weren't taking ur thyroid medication postpartum? I sometimes forget to take mine as well. Im not sure if it affects bm or not.

It’s a bit of a long story I’ll definitely go into detail maybe on a live at some point but my thyroid basically went overactive instead of under active so I started experiencing symptoms of hyperthyroidism (instead of hypothyroidism) like heart palpitations and had trouble breathing so I had to stop my medication immediately because my TSH was dangerously low. I literally could barely catch my breathe one day… it was scary. So stopping my medication was needed and I actually felt amazing for a few weeks until my thyroid went back to being under active again once my postpartum hormones settled so I needed to get back on my medication. I’ll definitely go into detail on a live one day!!
