The story:
Eight healthy habits in middle age may increase your life by more than 20 years.
According to research, you can lengthen your life by doing regular exercise, having a healthy diet, positive social relationships and a regular sleep routine, and avoiding stress, smoking, opioid drugs and too much alcohol.
The study was carried out over eight years and more than 700,000 Americans took part in it.

Beth does love chocolate! In a KZfaq short, Beth couldn't stop eating chocolate! However, Beth doesn't need to kick the habit of overeating chocolate because Neil and Beth, in the News Review episode "Can diet improve memory?" said chocolate is good for you and can keep memory loss at bay!

I am a fan of crisp foods, like pizza 🍕, pies, Taiwanese fried chicken and all that jazz. Especially, I have a addiction to deep-fried foods of which I really don't know how to kick the habit 😅.

after watch this serie, i am conscious of that i have to kick my bad habits like: checking phone, sleeping or getting up late, skipping meals, etc. Besides, I need to adopt a new attitude towards doing exercise, having a good diet or something which is good for my physical also mental health to help my longevity. thanks for your video.

It sounds very strange to say ‘life extension’. It’s very unnatural so ‘longevity’ is better when talking about ‘life’ 😊

I wish IELTS would adopt an easy exam format. Most youngsters should kick the habit of spending so much time using social media and doomscrolling. I believe doing exercise on a daily basis can extend our longevity and lead us to a healthy lifestyle.
