Tostitos- It’s interesting to see that compared to the design of the bags that these chips come in nowadays, the design of the bags in this commercial looks more artistic. Johnson’s Baby Shampoo- If I recall correctly, the design of the bottle of Johnson’s Baby Shampoo remained mostly unchanged for many years.

That guy taking fistfuls of pills in the Contac commercial may have a bigger problem than a cold.

04:08 Apparently Contac 12-Hour cold medicine was discontinued after a recall of every medicine that contained phenylpropanolamine, which was proven to cause strokes in otherwise healthy, young people. So maybe that guy should just stick to his 8 pill regimen.

Swift Butterball Turkeys-"Mayflower Ghosts"..a brand new comedy coming soon to ABC! Charlie's Angels-show just wasn't the same after Farrah and Kate left IMO Tenspeed And Brown Shoe-Jeff and Ben should do a reunion movie Attica-loved this and the HBO telefilm Against The Wall Chun King-love that jingle Benson-the old"sworn rivals trapped together" trope Vega$-Dan is running a bit too slow there Next time on"Charlie's Angels"-Louis Jordan sighting!

5:35-6:05 Not only was 1980 a great year to enjoy everything it had to offer but it was interesting to see that McDonald's wanted to take advantage of it being a leap year where February 29th was on a Friday by making a pun on the day's name as it was an extra Friday and an extra "Fry-day" as well. I wish they would have continued that offer in every leap year that started on a Tuesday, as that's when Feb. 29 is on a Friday. In fact, there won't be another such leap year until 2036. I hope they can bring back that offer then. Also, it was neat that those guys wore sweatshirts with all the dates in February on them. I believe you can make such a sweatshirt or t-shirt at Amazon or Custom Ink.

8:47- I feel like they’re totally ripping off Riunite here with the whole “(insert name of wine here) on ice being nice.” I googled it and Richards Wild Rose wines also use Lambrusco grapes…hmmm.
