Mower worked great for two weeks. I could get about 90 minutes run time on a full charge. Until one of the battery packs failed. I've been approved by Ryobi for a warranty replacement as of August 1st and was told 10-14 days. It is now September 1st. I've been getting nothing but the run around. I've had to contact customer service going on five times now. The first time I was told it would arrive by the end of the week. Didn't happen... The next time I was apologized to and was told it would be shipped out first thing in the morning and I would get an email with the tracking number. Didn't happen... The next time I was told the associate was out to lunch and was dropping the battery to be mailed out. Didn't happen... The next time I was told the associate was out of the office for the day and would be back tomorrow. The next time (today, Friday) I was told the associate was out of the office and would be back Tuesday... Mower works great, but apparently Ryobi doesn't support their products so I would highly recommend avoiding purchasing a Ryobi 80v mower.

I'm still waiting for a little bit wider 33" walk behind! C'mon ego, just take the two battery system from your 2 stage snow blower and slap it on a mower deck!

Anxious to see comparisons between this 30 inch walk behind and the new options from Toro (eTime Master) and Greenworks. Although each of these seem expensive at $2-3k they are much cheaper than a ride on that I don't want. I've got a lot of tall trees so plenty of sticks/acorns etc so not having a steel deck is a little worrisome personally.

That's nice 46" deck on rider mower with towing package on it Now let's see them add bucket loader on it , and small back hoe I can use tractor with bucket loader and back- homonyms it but not for $15k I'm not that rich on retirement.

They only list voltages and battery runtime. A 40v could have the same power as an 80v if the amperage were doubled, so listing only voltage can be misleading. They never list the watts, amperage x volts. They never show the amperage draw of the motors. 746w is the equivalent of 1hp. Most of these push mowers are actually 1.5-2.5 hp at best.

Why wouldn't you include the zero turns?....

Imagine the tractor having a front end loader option.

I have the top of the line Ego mower and I'll be replacing it with a Honda mower. Cut quality left me disappointed as did power. Everything else I have from Ego works very well (trimmer, blower, edger, rubber broom etc)

Its worth noting that Ryobi's 80V batteries are lead-acid, not lithium-ion. You can buy a third-party lithium-ion conversion kit for longer runtime but you'll pay dearly. There are KZfaq videos to walk you through the conversion.
