Frankly I own a Bullitt and I love the car just as it is. The Steeda wheels are probably the only thing I would add and they don’t sell these a la carte. I believe these modifications are not worth it. The car looks great as is and the only real visible differences are the wheels and front diffuser or lip, which juts out too far. Removing the Bullitt logo and replacing it with Steve McQueen Edition adds nothing except money/profit. The real changes are to the suspension and HP. The Supercharger and closed air box change the sound of the exhaust but it’s not better. Unnecessary power added for drag racing but it’s a manual and you’ll lose to a 10speed auto. Bottom line: no need to spend up to $44k more on top of $50k! If you’re doing that you’d be better served by saving a lot of money and getting a factory manufactured GT500. Spend $80 for well equipped GT500 rather then $95k for Bullitt. New Bullitts are selling now in mid-$40k range well optioned!

@@rembo183 my sentiments exactly. I own the '19 Bullitt and I wish I could throw these wheels on it. As far as the $44k package, I can get the same hp and suspension for less than half the price.

The White Triumph - I’m a little pissed off that Ford didn’t put the a Tremec in our cars and now they’re putting it in the Mach1! But I have no issues with MT82 so far. Recall doesn’t affect us ...per my dealership.

Price is high with Steeda mods, but reasonable from Ford. $48k base (which is loaded). Steeda does suspension mods, wheels etc.etc and with supercharger comes to about $90k.

That additional horsepower is absolutely no good without an upgraded clutch system. You will experience serious lockouts at high RPMs. The first thing you should do is upgraded clutch with an upgraded shifter. It makes the dynamics of the car very sharp. Not into any of that bling.

Ran 10.70 with nitro and stock clutch, has better axles but car has been bulletproof.

i own 2 of them, track one, drag it too, never 1 issue..they are built right. stock clutch in 06, zo6 that runs 10s with over 1000 passes on street and track. orig clutch...

Now that the Mach 1 is out, I wonder if one can buy the Tremec either aftermarket or direct from Ford Performance and replace the MT82 with it. I'd LOVE to upgrade my PP1 with the goodies from the GT350.

Steeda left the MT82 in the Steve McQueen Edition and I think that’s significant. They certainly could have swapped it for a Tremec 3160 like the GT350 has. Why not? Because they found the Bullitt transmission excellent and left it in

Significantly Steeda left the factory MT82 manual transmission and didn’t install a Tremec. I guess they liked it.

MustangConnection1 - Truth is the MT82 in the Bullitt is probably ok. But I’ll try the new Tremec manual in the Mach1 next year!👍🏻

MustangConnection- I just tested a GT350 I think my Bullitt is a smoother shifting manual compared to the more “notchy” mechanical Tremec.

@@frankschneider2950 I have driven the new GT500 several times and love the Dual Clutch set up and I am fine with the car not being offered with a stick.
