I remember when this song first came out in 1979 when I was 15... and here we are in 2024. It is the only song he is really known for. This is such a great song... the poor guy must sing it in his sleep after all these years.

I agree, great song. He made all of his living out of this one song and that's quite an accomplishment. He's set until the day he dies, for sure. Even today this song sounds fresh, different, original and awesome.

AGREED, I'm addicted to this song tonight after hearing it on Boom 97.3 Toronto. The first time I heard this song was 40 years ago at Symposium in Toronto...and tonight getting in my car from a different Symposium Cafe in GTA...so it was truly a blast from my past which excited me to know it's still a GREAT song that picks you up no matter what!!!! I’ve been known to dance and then some. But I occasionally have to use a cane myself because of a few accidents and injuries that I have had over the years.
