A lot of these shows were actually 70's shows which happened to continue into the 80's. In '74, the graphic TV movie, "Born Innocent," prompted the family viewing hour, wherein many of these shows aired.

Geez, I remember so many years ago. I was at a family reunion in a SoCal park that just happened to have a dirt track. Larry Wilcox who played John from Chips just happened to be there with his son, racing bikes on the track. And of course all us kids swarmed him for autographs. He was really nice and patient and made sure to sign all our pesky kids napkins and papers. He was really laid back and humble.

I liked that version of Spider-Man. I thought it was clever to just use a negative image for the Spider sense. For a small budget it was effective.

CHiPs was the greatest show because it never took itself too seriously. It was just fun. And, the music was awesome!!! I met Erik Estrada, Larry Wilcox, and Robert Pine (still soooo handsome), and they were all genuinely kind and gracious! Good guys!!!

When I was a kid I was always wondering why the superhero shows didn’t have any super villains? But now as a adult I know why they was no super villains, many due the low budget and technology at the time.

Younger people have to remember that technology wasn't what it is now. TV effects were a lot different. Having said that, pretty much all of those shows with the exception of BJ and the Bear were favs of mine. I remember BJ/Bear but didn't watch it like the others. Great nostalgic memories but couldn't watch any of them now with a straight face. Total cheese logs but I loved them.

What about Isis? It was a spin-off of Shazam. I know it wasn't super popular, but I loved it.

Oh also, I’ve been rewatching that version of the Hulk lately. I’m into the third season. It’s been funny to see episodes where the hulk is checking out women. One in particular took place in a department store. The Hulk ogled a green mannequin. It was hilarious.

I noticed the music now more than I did in the past as you play these clips the music is so good and the shows today simply don’t have music or it’s done with one person playing multiple instruments through a computer the shows in the late 70s and 80s always seem to have that disco beat at the disco versus rock ‘n’ roll was always very much in play when I was in college in the late 70s. I enjoy this I look forward to future postings again thank you Kevin it’s all good take care.

BJ and the bear with the worst😂 it lacked all Merit that's why you don't see them where you're running it I remember it vividly. It was a bastardization of Smokey and the Bandit Convoy. Every Which Way but Loose.

Hulk TV show was more successful than Hulk movies, but that Spiderman show was pretty bad, Spiderman movies really good.

The effects of the spiderman TV show was meant to emulate the segments of a kid's show, The Electric Company. It was thought the consistency would not spoil the fun for younger viewers.

Warning people about the supposedly bad special effects of the Spider-man tv series without showing the incredible on-camera work with stuntman Fred Waugh ´actually[ climbing the walls of the Empire State Building in NYC as well as the Jardine House skyscraper in Hong Kong (and the fight with the three samurai-like thugs in the pilot where he jumpss to the wall and turns upside as they atatck him IN THE SAME SHOT ), only shows how ignorant about the whole subject one is. Not only that but it is untrue 20 episodes were filmed. But hey, soneone who call as 80s tv show -suggesting VIA THE MISLEADING TITLE OF THE VIDEO -they were MADE in the 80s) when from the beginning we see opening credits of VERY 70s work-sorry bit saying ´They were made in the 70s but were being rerun inthe 80s makes no sense; that would be like calling STAR TREK a 1990s tv series since it was rerun insn many tv stations across the plenet in said decade...as a mtte rof fact just yesterday I saw episodes of Bewtiched being shown on tv...should aI call it ´a 2022 tv show?´ -...just shows how compeltely nbiased and untrue the whole ´mission´of whoever prepped the video. Sad.
