It's fine that these movies wouldn't get made today. I'm glad to have them in my library of movies. If they were remade, they would be complete garbage, just like most remakes. The stories that Hollywoke comes up with now are mostly garbage that are far worse than the movies in this video. Movies made now try to shove an ideology down your throat without an actual story. I'll take all these movies, and more, mentioned in the video. You can keep the garbage that's put out now.

I read somewhere that Stallone turned down the lead in "Romancing the Stone" to do "Rhinestone". Maybe the scripts got mixed up? 😂

Soul Man is not blackface. Is not a white actor with painted skin in order to play a black character. Is a white actor playing a WHITE CHARACTER that paint his skin. And of course you have to mention Tropic Thunder, another example of not-blackface, because is a white actor portraying a white actor doing blackface. The whole video just spit woke-ness in most of the "problems" (except maybe in the non-consten scene in ROTN) and the "remake" of Heathers with is "diverse" group is way worst than any of the 80s movies.

Ishtar actually gets better each time you watch it. It has become one of y favorite movies. I quote this movie a lot just like Big Labowski.

The writers of this video accurately depict the feelings of Hollywood today. This is why we can't have any good movies now. Too worried about feelings instead of storytelling.

If Howard the Duck was made in 2010, it would be the 140th best movie since 2010. Just take out the freaky nudity

Grew up in the 80s best decade of all time. The Brat Pack, loved the name, and wanted to be a part of this, just never thought it would impact these young people the way it did.

_Inchon_ was only 140 minutes long, NOT 240 minutes. That puts the runtime at two hours and twenty minutes, not over four hours, as stated in this video. That being said, great video! A lot of garbage films, but also some guilty pleasures. 👍

Just 5, you can go on forever, anything from the past would offend someone today, although what they make today offends me. In saying that I grew up in the 80's, seen some of these, others I didn't want to it didn't look like a good movie. Oh well haven't been to the movies in years, then again when I went it was seldom. I won't today for sure.

well the comments below sum up the sentiment. In a time when you could freely express a certain theme / comic freedom without the risk of being "cancelled" (a very modern and disgusting term) like we live in a world where so many people almost want to be offended and will seek out every opportunity to do so. Why I wish George Carlin was still around....RIP

Only because of this 'new woke' ideology. Do you ou really think we've progressed? I don't think any of the films triggered genuine offence, just these dinengenuous half wits, with far too much time on their hands jumping on a ridiculous self promoting soapbox. MOVE ON AND GET A LIFE!!!!!
