Still 8 th of March here in the UK …happy international Women’s day . As for my fountain pen journey , I’m still in the ‘ garage ‘ , but you have sparked my interest .

This was so enjoyable to listen to Jayne, while I was sitting outside having my breakfast😊 . I feel similar as far as enjoying what I have goes. I am trying🤞to only make one( or two) ink/Pen related purchases this year. So far, so good😅 I have to say we are so blessed here in Australia, as far as having the ability to buy ink samples from Pulp Addiction, Deskbandit and even Larry Post. 🙋🏻‍♀️🖋📃📮💌📬

Hi Tanja, you are so right, very thankful to be able to purchase samples and try before you buy so to speak. I have to admit, I really enjoy using what I have and take the time to appreciate it. Enjoy the rest of your weekend my friend 😊

What a great story & I love how put one pen multiplies 😂 yes I love the different paragraph colours that rotates each pen etc 👏 I love how you pronounce all those inks so easily

Wow, great origin story. I started off with just one pen and ink for years, before I lost my mind. I also prefer the medium or broader nibs. Extra fines should be outlawed LOL, but I have always, even with ballpoints, preferred a medium point over a fine. Some gold fine nibs that write on the wetter, broader side are okay though. I can 1 million percent vouch for OMAS, but the original OMAS, not the revived one. Both the nibs and celluloids are legendary, and if you like a very smooth writing experience, you will be hard pressed to find a better nib. I seriously can gush on and on over OMAS, something I don't over other pens, and something I rarely do for any brand. To me there is OMAS, one thousand levels and then Pelikan, my second favorite. If you are keep up with the videos see Fountain Pen Insanity's video(s). Excellen video. Enjoy it.

Hi there, thank you so much for watching and commenting. Yes I have heard exceptional things about the OMAS pens and their nibs. I have often watched Fountain Pen Insanity’s videos, Sarah has such a beautiful collection of pens and some gorgeous vintage ones, something I have not yet delved into. So the original OMAS pens I’m assuming I would need to keep an eye out for others perhaps parting with their OMAS?

Loved this video! I admire how slowly you built up your pen and ink collection in the beginning as you were figuring out your preferences. I've tried to take a similar approach, but it took me a few pens and bottles of ink (and feeling overwhelmed) before I started to pace myself. You have beautiful handwriting and I love that pen that you have on screen! 😍

I hope you can make it to the pen show some day! I understand, this season of parenthood is busy, it is hard to make these commitments when family life is so, so full!
