I just recently shared all my TWSBI‘s on Insta… 68 in total and all inked up. Like you said, it‘s just great to have a pen with a matching ink that you love always at hand. And they don‘t dry up. I write with fountain pens almost exclusively and to me it‘s just a logical thing to do… also to use my inks. 😊

you need 9 TWSBIs. 1 of each primary Color, with the corresponding ink. Red Orange Yellow Green Blue Purple (Lilac) Black Brown and Cyan. Nothing else will allow full expression. :):):)

Jsyne, thank you for the video. The lighting was just right. An interesting plan for the TWSBIs. Does this mean that you will have less opportunity to use your other pens? Probably not, because you certainly write a lot of pens dry.

I’m not going to get every single Twsbi on the market, but it just kind of makes sense to me to have a more inexpensive pen dedicated for my favourite inks. I will still definitely be inking my other pens as well but will rotate the inks that I use in those more. Gosh I hope I am making sense 😂 Have a good weekend Ray 😊

@@Tina.Journals hi Tina, thank you for letting me know about the lighting. The general consensus seems to be that it worked well. I kept thinking I didn’t need anymore and kept telling myself that. But given that I like to write with a spectrum of colour 🌈😂 it makes sense to me to have a more inexpensive pen dedicated for certain inks. With regard to my other pens I will rotate the inks that I put in them. At least these are my thoughts for now 😂 I hope you have a wonderful weekend my friend 😊

Jayne, have a color wheel with you so you can look at complimentary & contrasting colorways, so you can reduce the number of colored ECOs, while pairing all your inks.

@@mellow-jello hello there 😊 I’m not so worried about how many Eco’s I have. I know I won’t be having them all that’s for sure! I do have a wish list of the ones I would like for my favourite inks though and not in any hurry. I’ve found that my TWISBIs do keep writing for months also. I just get bored with the basic design if I keep them inked for too long and end up wanting to write with a different pen. Inking some of your other beautiful pens along with your TWSBIs seems like a good way to go.

I was thinking as well to buy as many fountain pens but I know I will not use them. That is sad. So I know I normally use 3 colors at most in my journal. Too many colors become a distraction on my eyes. I will do my best to love my only 3 TWSbI. 😂

Hi sweetie, thanks for the honorable mention and for the well wishes! 😘💕 Lighting is awesome! you’re gonna laugh when I tell you that I’m changing my twsbi eco system right now.. I’m writing them ALL dry for a fresh start, because I have more matching shimmer colors and felt like a fresh start! Also switching boxes around, so I’ll have the Ecos (20 right now, but I know I’ll cave when they come out with a hot pink Barbie color!) in the larger box and the other inked ones in the former eco box… but first there’s pens to be written dry! We only have a few stores here in Australia that carry a range of pens and inks and some brands we cannot get here so us Aussies are always having to order from the US. or the UK. If you are lucky enough to live in either of those countries, you have a wonderful selection of businesses to order from 😊

@@gailsbookishthings5191 hi Gail, the matte finish on the pen feels wonderful. The nib on it is a 14k Mr Cypress. Just Turnings stocks them so I added it to this pen when I bought it. Such a beautiful nib to write with.

Your pairings this month are once again quite lovely! btw, all gold-nibbed Pilot Capless/Vanishing Points/Decimos have 18k nibs, not 14k, so unless you have one of the special alloy steel nibs, those nibs are 18k. 😉 Have a wonderful week!!

So many great pens and ink choices. It was nice seeing the pens from your penefactor; they are unique in that they are ones you do not often see. Must be so fun exploring them. I just decided on my July pens but still need to make ink choices on 4 out of the 7. I can't imagine making decisions for 26! Have a great week my friend.
