The rich are not the problem. We have a type of Dutch disease, normally it's when a country relies on oil/gas resources and foreign money. Then they neglect other industries like manufacturing. In Britain are Dutch disease is financial services and foreign investors money. We've completely neglected all other industries. Especially manufacturing. No jobs for life, low wages and a reliance of immigrants to drive down cost but make the GDP look good. It's going to get worse under Labour. Anyone who thinks an even worse party than the Tories, is going to sweep in and tax Britain back to health is in for a rude awakening. We need a major economic change.

If I remember correctly, last time capital gains was increased it shifted investment away from busniess towars speculative i.e. property, which helped drive the house price rises of the 2000's and 2010's. 🎉 Don’t farmers usually sell, sell, sell whatever it is they farm? 🎉
@IeuanBevan.

@AntiSepticUK I'm referring to the unliked inhertance tax bill. As of now agriculture has a relief from inhertance tax which allows farmers to pass on the working farm without a 40% bill. Now labour might very well remove the relief as well as business relief which at the end of the day will force generations of farmers to sell 40% of the farm. Nowadays no farmer can afford that, you'd be surprised farmers make bearly anything. Now the question, who buys that land? Big farmers can't as they'll have the same bill. So wealthy foreners will buy it and won't farm it, they'll turn it into houses or something. Though labour would definitely buy alot of land and make it into houses for the immigrants they'll get in. Just remember, no farmer, no food. No one, absolutely no one, is talking about this.
@Casper-we3dq
@Casper-we3dq 7 күн бұрын

@Casper-we3dq another thing people don't know is the way these imported animals are killed/treated. To give you example, in some counties they cut the tail of a sheep whilst it is alive, no pain relief. And we buy it because its simply cheaper. Alot of animals are also poorly kept. So in reality people see the lower price tag, but don't know how bad for your health it is to eat that meat compared to British meat. Massive difference but all people see is a price. I do fear in decades to come farming may not be a thing in Britain. And land could be filled with tax funded houses and immigrants. This especially being under a labour government. That little thing is very serious and I havbr heared no one talk about it. To be honest, I haven't even heared the word farm in any of these recent debates. This also effect the environment/conservation.

More millionaires will leave and any tax the rich strategy will struggle. Labour will have to go down a few levels and start to pull taxes from those they call "working class" which means everyone. The excuse is that they have no choice.

So why vote for them, what will they do for our country and our people. Unfortunately, no difference if you vote Toty, Liberal, Green, SNP, Monster raving looney Party ...VOTE REFORM for the betterment of our country and our people, vote for Reform for PEACE, FREEDOM and a future for our children

And this is the problem the ardent socialists will vote Labour to 'end poverty' and will be happy that these millionaires leave who pay a large chunk of tax to fund Thier beloved public services and the little man and small businesses foot more and more of the bill becoming poorer and more povertuois in the process but blindly voting Labour for change is sticking your hand in a beehive and not expecting to be stung

Just in time, I’ve cashed in my pensions, received money mid June, moved it off shore and I’m investing it from there. Day before election, I complete a house sale, downsizing, no mortgage, reducing bills and council tax, council tax by 200 a month, I’m moving the equity abroad too, investing that, can expect my inheritance hopefully in time to move that abroad too and then honestly, I plan on emigrating because what with trans nonsense I have a seriously bad feeling about the future. I don’t want to be here in UK ideally by 2030 latest.
