Salman Asif Siddiqui is the founder and director of the Educational Resource Development Centre (ERDC) an institute of training and material development in Pakistan. Salman is a staunch critic of the contemporary education system and an articulate advocate of natural learning. Salman has a dream to turn every school (and home) into a learning club where children could be trusted, owned, and accepted unconditionally. One of his many academic contributions is the Charter of Children’s Recognition which has been proposed to ensure insult-free education for every child.

Absolutely agree with each and every point, spot on and being an early years teacher and working in education myself in Pakistan and now in the UK, I can't emphasis more on each point. Unfortunately, our society is still living in typical mentality. We don't need higher education to understand so many aspects of parenting. The time and effort parents in Pakistan put to watch dramas and staying busy on their phones and gossiping around, if they put half of it then the children will be at peace with themselves and can be fruitful citizens.

100% agree with you, today's dramas, films and morning shows are destroying our young people's future. What is sir talking about, these things our mothers and grand mothers who couldn't write neather read( except Quraan majeed) they told us. In those days when children go to school mothers used to do telaawat and nowadays mothers are watching the morning .

اسلام علیکم ورحمتہ اللہ وبرکاتہ سر اگر آپ ان ساری باتوں کو اردو میں بیان کر دیں ۔تاکہ جو مال دار ہیں ۔وہ علم سے بڑے دور ہیں صرف پیسہ آیا تو بچوں کے والدین بڑے شہروں میں شفٹ ہو گے۔لیکن علم پاس نہیں تو گھر میں ہوم ٹیویشن کے ٹیچر آتے ہیں ۔مسلہ بہت بڑا یہ ہے کہ بچے کے پاس والدین کے پاس بیٹھنے کا ٹائم ہی نہیں بچتا۔اگر ٹائم مل بھی جائے تو ماں باپ کے خلاف بچے کو بڑکاتی رہتی ہے۔جب ماں باپ کی عزت کرنا نہیں سکھاتی تو بعد میں 18 سال کی عمر میں پہنچتا ہے۔تو مسائل بڑھ جاتے ہیں ۔
