Nell and Darrell have $60 thousand dollars in personal debt, which is no laughing matter. But Darrell refuses to let this stress him out and constantly jokes about their situation to avoid reality. That leaves Nell suffering through sleepless nights alone. And it’s starting to take its toll on their 9 year-old daughter who has offered up her piggybank to help in tough times. When the numbers are crunched, is bankruptcy the only option for this couple?

My partner maxed up my credit I didn’t know , both of my credit cards I was so mad about it and my partner opened more credit cards , keep promising me after 5 years we will be fine he was hiding all the credit cards debts after 7 years we had $85,000 credit card debts I didn’t know. I found out he was cheating too lots of women and lied about it I was so Mad and my partner doesn’t want me to save money how ridiculous is that. Every time I make money my partner will empty my bank account quickly will just give me $700 a month so frustrating sometimes I don’t feel like working anymore 😂 now we are consumer debt free, because we give up our home equity to paid it all. Thank you Jesus but my partner still continues using credit cards all the time so annoying.

There's a difference in spending and saving. She clearly is afraid of no money to live on. He has his account and openly takes whatever CASH HE WANTS. He wants his alcohol figured into the budget. I didn't see her ask for anything. I'll bet $$ he went back and opened his own account again.

My guess is she was a 'mail order' bride (I think this because she's so much better looking than him and he doesn't have the money or personality to equal the playing field) and, as many of these women find out, they end up with controlling, socially inept men who are not the provider they were lead to believe After being in his country for years, she has much higher expectations then she had at first, as a lot of them do, and has realized that she can leave and live on her own terms without having to go back to her country, or put up with him. I see his fixation with booze as a problem and hope she continues to hide money away for her and her daughter, as my guess is she's going to need it.
