These commercials aired on Nick on June 26th, 1993
1. Promo for "Salute Your Shorts" (I probably saw every episode of this show at least five times watching in the afternoons at 5:30 after school)
2. Drastic Elastic
3. Recycle PSA (Square parents who look straight out of the 1950's seemed to be incredibly common back then)
4. Kellogg's Frosted Mini-Wheats (^ See what I mean?)
5. Juicy Fruit
6. Super Stinkers Water Gun (*WARNING* May be involuntarily transformed into a slice of pizza, sneaker or garbage can. Smell does not actually go away)
7. Snick Intro
8. Snick Commercial Bumper
9. Honey Comb
10. 10-K
11. Wacky Water Wackers
12. Wrestling Action Figures
13. Nick Station ID
14. Six Flags Great Adventure
15. Nickelodeon Orange A Peel (With Mike O'Malley, host of "Get The Picture" and "Guts")
16. Snick Commercial Bumper
17. "Clarissa Explains It All" End Credits
18. Snick Commercial Bumper
19. Frosted Flakes
20. Promo for "Salute Your Shorts"
21. Nick Slime Time Live Interstitial (Sponsored by McDonald's and Sega)
22. Snick Commercial Bumper
23. TV Spot for "Rookie Of The Year" (It's no "Sandlot" but this is still a pretty enjoyable baseball movie for kids)
24. Skip It (One of the more iconic commercials from back then with a seriously great jingle)
25. 10-K
26. Snickers Ice Cream Bar
27. Snick Commercial Bumper
28. "Roundhouse" End Credits
29. Snick Commercial Bumper
30. Men's Hair Now
31. Batman: The Ride and Batman Stunt Show at Six Flags Great Adventure
32. Golden Grahams
33. ScramBall
34. Nick Station ID (I'm not actually sure if I've ever posted this one on the channel before and it came right back to me like I was 9 again)
35. Nick Slime Time Live Interstitial (Well...at least he staved off complete embarrassment on national television by winning Surf Ninjas for Game Gear)
36. Snick Commercial Bumper
37. Blockbuster
38. 1-800-COLLECT
39. Battle Trolls ("Nunchuk Troll"...how creative!)
40. Promo for "Are You Afraid Of The Dark?"
41. Snick Commercial Bumpers
42. Milk
43. Playskool Splashketball (30 years later and we're STILL waiting for the International Olympic Committee to finally recognize Splashketball as an Olympic sport)
44. Nick Conserve Water PSA
45. Nick Slime Time Live Interstitial (I have the sneaking suspicion that this game was not actually real and that the clips they played and the outcome were predetermined. Obviously they would not want to hype this up and then show three kids losing on TV)
46. Snick Commercial Bumper
47. Barqtoos from Barq's Root Beer
48. Battle Trolls (Trollinator, I choose you!)
49. Snick Commercial Bumper
50. "Are You Afraid Of The Dark?" End Credits

What a win getting that on first guess! Would have been awesome to win all of that back then.

Seeing salute your shorts makes me kinda sad now since the actor who played ugh (the counsellor) passed away not too long ago. It's mainly the theme song that does it.

I like that Heidi Lucas has participated in a reunion. For years she sort of avoided it all it while becoming a lawyer.

I remember hearing about that. R.I.P. Kirk Bailey. I had heard that personality wise in real life he was a lot like “Fun Ug” during the “Upside Down Weekend” episode.

Juicy Fruit itself might not be moving me today, but that jingle is going to be stuck in my head all day...

7. Snick Intro- I love the feel and the atmosphere of this introduction to Snick. Not only does it build excitement for the lineup of shows about to be shown, but the environment has the potential to be a setting for a kid friendly horror movie. Scram Ball- This game looks like a glorified version of the classic playground game of Dodgeball. Blockbuster- I like how the old lady’s expression at 15:07 looks like a cross between having fun getting pulled across the street on the skateboard and not being sure what to make of this situation.

I remember these commercials vividly since my TV stayed heavy on Nickelodeon in my room on Saturday nights during SNICK. Great set. On a side note we have a young Jason Weaver in the Golden Grahams commercial.

I had a Game Gear for a while. My Dad got me one when we were going to drive to Florida for Spring Break. The thing was nice and all, but it chugged batteries like a stereotypical frat boy chugs beer. I held onto it, but mainly played my Game Boy for portable gaming.

That 10-K commercial..All I can think about is how much is that Mom spending on gas to drive that kid around to five sports events and practices on random days?

I feel the same way about that Slime Time contest the first one felt like it was all predetermined from the beginning! But the Super Stinkers Water Gun was one thing that could have only existed in the 90s!

15:18 - I never rented games from Blockbuster, because my local grocery store had a bigger selection than Blockbuster did in their video section. Stop lying, kid.

For how much it seems to have been advertised, I have absolutely zero memory of that 10-K juice - the ads or the product. I'm wondering if it just wasn't available everywhere in the States, so some places never saw the ads.

Possibly only available on the east coast. I’m from CA and don’t remember it being advertised either.

@@80sCommercialVault 10-K definitely was a thing in the New York area in the early 90s. Many of the commercials compared it to Gatorade and they said it was preferred in taste testing over Gatorade as well as having more vitamins and minerals.

I don't doubt it, I think Nickelodeon probably played a lot of different ads on their East Coast/West Coast feeds. As somebody who was probably watching every single one of these Snick broadcasts on the night they aired, it's sort of like peering into a parallel universe.

I don't think that Slime Time was pre determined but it was a pretty high likelihood of getting a correct box. When the guy can't find Ren it shows that 4 of the 8 boxes contain a correct answer and they get two guess so that is a bit higher than an 80% chance of choosing correctly.
