Having driven the new turbo-charged Tata Altroz Racer across various driving patterns, here is my verdict on the Hyundai i20 N Line rival. Is the Altroz finally a HOT hatchback? Can it be a thrilling drive? The updated Altroz iTurbo is now called the Racer and comes with the same engine that powers the Nexon petrol. This 1.2-litre unit churns out 120 PS of power and 170 Nm of torque. Mated to a 6 speed gearbox, there is no option of an automatic Racer for now.
The drive experience started off from Coimbatore, crossing urban traffic, on to the fast moving highway and finally to a race track. Is the car worth the wait? Have a look!
