87 is 2 turns out, (88-89) is 1 3/4 turns out, (90-91) 2 turns out, this appiles to 2wd or 4wd. Later models are different. (92-96) 2wd only is 2 3/4 : (97-98) 2wd only is 2 7/8 : (92-98) 4WD 2 7/8 and finally a (91-98) LT-F4WDX is 2 5/8 turns out.

Um... how to say. resonated SOLID... aint no floatin to it. there seized up solid by the resin. yet the float needle is the only part moving freely... yes. this quad has been setting years. godda go watch ur part 2. thank you for all you've taking your time to do, and continue too

Yeah I took it off and rebuilt it and put it back on had a few issues to get back off adjusted it put it back on impossible to adjust from the bottom without that bent screwdriver that's been $18 for and then I found out it was easier to pay $36 and buy a brand new carburetor on Amazon

hey man be careful with the oil on the diaphram. Have you ever removed the bowl gasket and got oil or wd 40 on it and it will swell and be to big to fit. i would not put any oil on the diaphram's edge, if you do, do not let it sit and swell, immediately put it back in and tighten screws on the cover. once again it will swell
@GoKartsorGoneFishin3 жыл бұрын
I have had this problem..hopefully everyone knows better..thx for watching friend
@jeremyhelm28333 жыл бұрын
Is there anything that can be safely applied to the diaphram which will help keep it flexible, prevent dry-rot and extend its' life? Like you said... probably not anything oil based. Maybe pure silicone grease or something like that? Thanks

You need to lube your air filter, it's not supposed to be dry.
@GoKartsorGoneFishin5 жыл бұрын
Didn't know that friend..I will let the owner know..thank you!
@arberfilms23022 жыл бұрын
You don’t need to do that, the atv I own now had someone who messed with too much tacky grease for an air filter. It ended up sealing the expensive carbeurator shut and locked up the throttle at one point. I have a new OEM carb but I would’ve reused the old one if no one put any oil or anything in it.
@bobybobbison2 жыл бұрын
@@arberfilms2302 Tacky grease? Air filter lube isn't tacky grease unless I'm not understanding your response. Lubing the air filter so it's not dry and will actually trap the fine particulates of dirt is what I was talking about.
@arberfilms23022 жыл бұрын
@@bobybobbison it gets dirtier with oil in the filter element over time. Also whoever messed with my machine didn’t know wd40 should only be used a a filter oil. Anything else can get sucked into the carbeurator and cause severe damage even to the engine if it’s bad enough.
@bobybobbison2 жыл бұрын
@@arberfilms2302 Wow, that is really not true, 40 years professional experience and never once have I heard something like you're saying. I totally disagree with you, of course it gets dirtier, that's what it's for!! So all the OEM companies that sell foam filter oil must be insane? Foam air filters are to have oil kneaded into them, don't listen to this guy "Arber Films2" WOW his comments are 100% false. I've owned probably 1,000 for motorcycles and I've never heard anyone say anything like "you shouldn't lube foam filters, that would mean they would catch more dirt" WOW!
