I figured it out, yes there is a left and a right struts on Honda accord.When I test drove my car it makes a grinding noise the I interchanged it.The struts is rubbing on the fender wall.I interchanged and it fits perfectly.

Yes. I agree with previous comment. Showing each tool and wrench sizes, etc. I wonder how different it is for a 2009. I saw a 2009 replacement and it seemed much more complicated.

I did mine with Monroe quick struts which has these little tabs you have to line up but other than that it was super easy and after I figured out the passenger side the drivers side only took 20 minutes!

I had a problem putting mine because it is not labeled R and L and come to find out they shipped two Lefts struts,I still have an issue with eBay seller right now ending this whole month.

@@themechanic6117 I had a problem looks like the spring seat facing differently from the Left strut and the right strut causing the strut to lean half an inch forward so the bottom screw can't align.And why is my original has label on it L and R if they are identical.The after market that I got has no label so I picked one and fit. The right one won't.

+Michael O'Pry thank you, technically you shouldn't need an alignment but really it all depends on how the car feels when you drive it. If it went down the road straight before and now it pulls to the side I would take it for an alignment.

Thanks for the video. Great job. I noticed you used unity replacement. Never heard of them and don't seem to be available where I've looked. I was going to use Monroe quick strut as KYB does not offer strut and spring for v6 sedan. Any thoughts? Thanks, Michael

Those quick struts make light work of the job. Over here the first fail would have been the two brake hose bolts corroded and shearing off guaranteed.

If you want to "Blink", you have to replace ALL your "Blinker Fluids" and remember, there are about 4 - 6 Blinkers, ok? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

i notice the oil leak under the engine, and i have similar issue on my 2001 accord DX. what's causing the oil leak? seals inside the timing belt area? great videos, i'm looking to replace all four shocks and struts and the two axles DIY.

It's usually the seals behind the timing cover for the cam shafts

In the carribean im based. T&T parts for most hondas are a problem here to find cause most of the shops here arent all tht into honda, cant even tell what can be used

Unfortunately I dont work for this customer anymore so I dont know how theyre holding up.

I tried aligning the fork to the lower control arms but the holes just wouldn't align no matter what I did. is there a certain way the strut assembly is supposed to be installed? could I have been using the wrong side strut assembly?

My front end still makes noise over bumps though so now I need front ball joints also

+Korey Mayo I'd check the stabilizer links and sway bar bushings first
