In this video I knock out a front brake job on a Honda Accord. Along the way we get a few tips from MeMaw, reminisce about some old rap music and fix a seized caliper pin. Other than that, just a run of the mill brake job.

What we learned from this video. Don't forget lube, stick in the hole and rub it around and let it touch the sides and then douche it real good. Then go back in for the second round. Lube the rubber and the hole, and the head of the pin. Not sure if I was watching a brake video or life hack video. Great Job as always Mr. O!

I just bought the automotive scissor style lift from HF. I got it for a good deal thanks to a 30% discount code that they let me use. Makes lifting my vehicles, including my John Deere tractor a breeze to work on in my garage with a 9ft ceiling. Just because tools cost more, doesn't mean they're better. Most of them are overpriced.

@@Joseph1NJ -- The word "Schmutz" was adopted into Yiddish, but it was originally German. When children soil their clothes, German mothers complain that their kids' clothes are "schmutzig" (dirty). German mother: "Hans! What have you been doing?! Your clothes are all schmutzig!"

@@dateatorjr9671 -- Ummm, in principle, you could call someone a "schmutz bag", but I doubt that any American would understand you, and a German would be confused, since "schmutz bag" means a "bag of stains". To insult a German, you would call him a "Drecksack" (a sack of garbage/trash).

My wife loves her 06 Accord, 190k trouble free miles. Hers is a 2.4 5 speed sedan. I upgraded her rotors and calipers to the bigger v6 six speed sedan brakes. 06-07 the Accord was available with the 3.0v6 and six speed trans from Acura CL-S. It's definitely a rare model nowadays and a sure sleeper.
