Thanks a lot for your video. I spent an hour trying to disconnect the plug. After watching your video it took me 5 seconds! You helped me a lot! 😀

Excellent, I'm comfortable with mechanical jobs but a bit wary of electrical items so it's good to see the reasoning process for this. Let's hope that's all it is on mine too! Also very useful to see you take the alternator out in real time. Thank you for making the vid 👍

Glad to see putting it back in isn’t so easy. There’s a rubber hose above that makes it tough to position. Nice video. I used a brass round stock and a three pound hammer and really had to pound it. And that’s after using penetrate oil days in advance.

Was your phone made in America? That might explain why it made it look like the alternator was on the wrong side?

Hi what was the part numbers off the voltage regulator? The camera doesn't zoom in close enough to see them.

Hi. It's been a while since I did this and can't remember the part number but if you go on Design911 you can find them on there for a great price. I think I paid around £50 for mine. Hope this helps.

@@tonyrepairs5558 Hi. Thanks Tony I'll have a look. Is your alternator/charging system still ok?

Yes all is still good. All I would say is check to make sure the bearings are still good. It's been a year now but I've only done about 3000 miles since.
