Daniel Radcliffe is “Weird” Al Yankovic in the unexaggerated true story about the greatest musician of our time. From a conventional upbringing where playing the accordion was a sin, Al rebelled and made his dream of changing the words to world-renowned songs come true. An instant success and sex symbol, Al lives an excessive lifestyle and pursues an infamous romance that nearly destroys him.
The movie is written by Eric Appel and 'Weird Al' Yankovic.
Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, directed by Eric Appel, will be available on The Roku Channel on November 4, 2022.

The best part is, Al's current tour:The Unfortunate Return of the Ridiculously Self-Indulgent, Ill-Advised Vanity Tour is him not playing any of his hits, only much lesser known original non-parodies, and a single straight cover of All Right Now by Free. The tour itself is satire. The man is incredible.

My husband who speaks Italian as a first language, (English as his third language) thought that the name was “Weird Owl” for many many many years (until we brought our son to a concert and he saw the spelling on the marquee). What's amazing about this is that Daniel Radcliffe sound *exactly* like Aaron Paul when he does an American accent. Aaron Paul of course was the original Weird Al in the Funny or Die trailer

Coming from a *non-Harry Potter fan* like myself, this film as well as *"Guns Akimbo"* and *"Imperium"* are hands down some the most outrageous movies that *Daniel Radcliffe* just perfectly nailed to a tee. *Instant 10/10.*
