Nothing wrong with building a light bike but if you are on a budget, bike's weight doesn't matter if you are not a pro cyclist and 12sec-45secs of time in a 10kms ride difference doesn't matter to you.

The wheel base on this thing is disgusting lol, you make any kind of corner and your foot hits the front wheel.
