nobody would even dare to tailgate you, and people in front of you would get out of your way, I don't think even cops would dare to pull you over either. The Creeper Truck is the king of the roads!

Ya, that's why I haven't lit them up yet. That is a lot of weight, and tall tire to light up. Just feels expensive to get past this segment... lol

We just might if we get it fixed in time. As for the specs, we aren't sure...yet. I will say it gets to 60, very quickly. Probably 450 hp or better. Hard to tell because of the weight. It is probably capable of 120 mph or so, but wheel type and tire (and 1941 suspension etc.) keep me around 65 mph.

Interestingly, they didn't know how popular the first movie would be, and sold the trucks for scrap after filming was done. So in 2003, during the filming of the 2nd movie, they didn't have the trucks to use, and failed to write them into the script.

Never. The side wasn't clipped. That is new automotive, hardened paint, even more important than a shiny paint job really. But it is a tight turn in that thing and we did cut for the back and forth.

Is it the same engine from the first movie? And did they actually supercharge it back then? Or was it just a sound effect?

It is not the same engine from Jeepers Creepers 1. It is the same engine from the third movie. It was never supercharged. It was an old, beat up 350 that I believe transpo kept after the movie. The supercharger and the horn were sound effects.

Was that horn real, or did you guys overlay the sound from the first movie? I really wanna know and If real can you do a video of the horn doing its thing without background sound?

Aha, yes the most frequently asked question....None of the trucks had a horn during the filming of the movies. It was all dubbed in during post, as was this video done with a sound effect. We are working on a real, analog (non digital) horn and we are actually getting close. When we solve that physical sound, we will share it with our fans for sure. Thanks for the question!

@@thegaragefathers496 Sorry, I don't do Facebook. I'm asking out of curiosity, but I'll never buy one. I don't want to be a timewaster. In all seriousness: Somebody with a garage could rebuild a few a year and make a good living. A bit like the way DeLoreans or "Christine" cars are restored and sold as movie replicas. Imagine having a replica, and using it as a regular car for visiting the mall or collecting the kids from school. Yikes! Perhaps the original base truck is so rare, building replicas would be difficult. Maybe find an off-the-peg chassis from a modern truck with the same wheelbase, which could accommodate the original bodywork. Creeper Truck externally, early 2000s truck underneath. I wish you well, keep up the good work.

Thank you sincerely. And as for dimensions, there are only 3 of these in the world. Because of this, the other truck owner and I have shared endless pictures with people to build clones, but committed some time ago, not to share actual dimension numbers so that the original trucks stand out as completely unique and rare. Of additional interest trivia, each of the three originals is slightly different.

That is actually a good eye. Both Cali desert. Our filming location is farther North than where Duel was filmed.

Now, it's my understanding that the (either) director or producer of the movie's is or was convicted of being a petifile or child molestation. That's not something that one chooses one day and then stops! Don't know much but I don't like that and I'm not sure how to respond or feel about the movies, but it answers questions about the demon, that's easy to grasp .

It is a gas powered Chevy 350 stroked to 383 cid V8. Very fast for a big truck.
