Life right now. Best friends, cute babies, big challenges and some really good echoes in the forest. And some kulning, of course.
This two weeks will be a little bit special for me, since I am about to face one of the biggest steps in my musical career. Time to focus!

As a loner myself I can only imagine how nervous you are. However, as a loner you are exceptional for how you push your limits and go outside your comfort zones. I cannot do that. Living in a small remote village in Sweden, yet you are touching lives from all over the world and that's just so amazing. As a loner, I long for human connection yet I find it hard to meet new people because I can't seem to click with many people. Looking back recently, I find I have always been this way and I hate it. I love being alone, yet I hate being lonely. I cannot seem to find balance in that. Anyway, congrats Jonna. I know your performance will be a great success.

lcarota It’s ok to be who you are. You can be around many people and still be lonely. The most important thing is to love and like yourself. Once that happens all things are possible. Peace to you.

I really relate to this comment. I'm the same in that I value time spent alone and it's rare for me to find someone I genuinely click with, but I really wish I could have stronger connections with people than I currently do. I've come to see that there not being many people I really connect with isn't necessarily a bad thing and doesn't mean I'm an unlikable person. There have been a few people I've been extremely close to in the past and I know that that suits me better than having 20 friends who never really became anything more than acquaintances ever could. If I can just find the right few people again and get close to them, I'll be happy with that. I would imagine the same goes for you. Putting yourself in situations with people who have similar interests and mindsets will probably help, although that's easier said than done.

I also suffer with severe depression, as well as ptsd and anxiety. I'm so sorry you are struggling as well. You inspire me so much! Recently I found myself very messed up! I got up late everyday, didn't hear the classes, I can't manage my time, I didn't focus, I felt lazy and tired all day and I don't even know why is this happening. It's been 2 and a half week since I first saw your videos and I truly inspired by what you're doing, you always reached your goal and that's inspire me a lot! So I decided to be myself again and bonding with the nature. This week is way different from the week before I saw your videos. Now I got up at 3 am everyday and start the day with positive and now I can manage my time for works, hobbies, and study! Thank you for making such a great videos and great inspirations! Ice swimming, first ever musical performance,new cottage, doing all these new things that are out of your comfort zone is so cool and, taking life by the reins is such a bad ass thing to do especially going in to a long cold winter, it's so nice watching your videos and seeing someone venture into the new and unknown for them and come out with positive results Good for you, you'll do great in your performance and you're going to feel amazing after it, you just can't feel bad after sharing such beautiful, personal, music. Keep on doing what you're doing, because you're amazing, rock on girl ❤️ Edit:also your kulning is genuinely mind-blowingly beautiful, it never gets old, like every time I hear it it takes me by surprise like holy shit that's amazing.

You have the voice of an angel, Jonna! We all have faith in you ability to amaze any crowd. I myself being a performer can give you some advice: take all your nervous energy and direct it towards your show. I'm not sure if this will work for you, but it always help me to dance before I get on stage. It doesn't have to be choreographed or anything, just shake the anxiety out. And if you are afraid of the audience, just look right over their heads at the wall. It works every time and they think you're making eye contact with them. Best of Luck!

Hello Jonna! I neeeever comment on videos - more of a background youtube lurker (in a non creepy way) - but here I felt I had to add another message of appreciation! Just wanted to say each one of your videos is a piece of art! Thank you so much for sharing your wise words and for really promoting a connection to nature to people globally, it's a such an important message. Good luck with your performance. I think you will find that once you are ‘on stage’ you can imagine you are in the forest and perform without fear. I also wanted to say that, though I have never done ice swimming, I am drawn to it. I hope I am able to experience it soon. I also was very inspired by your little videos of taking lunch in the forest. I thought to myself, why dont I do that?! I am in the studio all day, and all I have to do is pack some tea and some thing to eat and drive to the forest, which is close by, eat my lunch and then come back! Thank you for these inspirational vlogs. Also, I love your tiny studio. I hope I can get one soon as well. And, for any viewers out there, I am in my 60’s and love your vlogs. 💕

Adorable! I had a dog that was soo unbelievably like Nanuk in type (he was grey with blue eyes...) and he had that wonderful character with children, they could do anything with him and he protected them with his life, he was the very best and gentlest family dog ever and I always think so fondly of him when I see Nanuk!! He grew up with my youngest daughter, her first love. Nanuk is like a reincarnation - my dog died aged 14 in 2010...

Jonna, I’ve been watching your videos everyday before I sleep since I stumbled upon you on here. It helps put me in a calming state. Everything about your videos are breathtaking. And once again, I shall write here to the beautiful soul of Sweden. I saw yesterday that you've uploaded and by god, I did get nervous but I just came from swimming and I was exhausted and I want to enjoy your videos fully. After my nap I got so busy so here I start my new day with your content and that kulning gave me the best chills. It's so beautiful. I am very happy for the ventilation, it's very important for your beloved one. Maybe you want to keep active coal in that room, too against all the smell and toxics? I am off to work off my to-do-list. It's a bit weird, but that to-do list scared me for months, and it's been a week that I face my "fears", it's so silly haha... Kind regards to the north! balance +variety =the spice of life . is good you make time for your self alone to think and capture new thoughts .its hard to be with someone 24/7 even in a virus lock down . to have good friends such as yours and with kids gives you many new perspectives on life and a peek into what married life and kids would be like .so there is education and a new experience everywhere we look or around us so enjoy life and make it all count . great video as usual ..thank you

I wish you the best of luck, Jonna! As a musician (violinist), i know how scary it can feel to perform in-front of an audience, especially large ones, so i can understand your nervousness- a little trick that always worked for me when i performed was to imagine someone in the audience who i really wanted to play for (whether it be a family member, friend, crush etc) and suddenly my body switched into this other mode and perfected every note because i wanted the performance to be good. Another trick i learnt to calm the nerves also was to breathe in for 4 seconds, hold for 7, breathe out for 8. I hope these both help in some way! Again, best of luck! Wim Hoff is so inspiring for me too , but before I saw his videos I found the healing powers of cold water, by listening to my body speak Strange when I injured my foot and had loads of problems with my head, my body was calling me to swim in the sea during the winter months It’s amazing how our bodies talk and guide us if we listen x

Oh, and this video really inspired me so I actually I tried to film myself hiking in a beautiful forest today! I ended up getting footage of me falling in a forest, soaking my shoes in a swamp, burning my tongue with hot tea and also spilling the tea everywhere. And then it got too dark to film. Yeah, making beautiful videos is not that easy xD
