Paola is an angel in this world. Her KZfaq is not only aesthetically beautiful but she has so much wisdom. It is comfort for the soul watching her . I always feel that the people that comment ‘ I wish I had that life’ are missing out on what she is actually doing with her channel

i listened to this on my phone and it was so nice to get to know Paola a little more 💕 and it's so fun to actually SEE it here. she's such a lovely person. finding her videos in 2020 literally saved my life. that may sound like a lot, but it's true. Her videos hit the core of me, in a time where i was close to ending my life. her videos helped me save myself and remember how life can be beautiful again. she just hit something really deep within me. and every week since, i have watched her. :) great podcast!

She is such a kind and wonderful soul who cannot help but create. Her reflective eye and open heart gives so many soothing moments. Such a gift. Her naturalistic lifestyle is inspiring and lovely. Thank you for nourishing so many. I actually do live in a country cottage. I used to be a city girl but I find it to be too......much. I just harvested many pumpkins that were shared with neighbors. Not quite finished but man do I love Paola. I've been following her for years now. I just so appreciate her strength to be vulnerable and tell us the truth about her life and all that she's gone through and learned. To be able to say, ya, you know, I was making slow life videos but not quite living it myself and how she grew into her lifestyle and learned over time how to slow her mind and body through hard work, therapy and self help books. It helps so much to hear another person's story because this is the human story. This is the human experience. This. Her. Her story. We're not alone in our struggles, in our learning, in our growing. We can feel like we're the only ones going through this or that, but we're not. It's the people who share their story who help us see this. We need more people to share and we need more people like Paola. ❤

I am so impressed with the amount of wisdom you two have at this stage in your lives! It took me until age 40 before I began healing in earnest, followed by REAL living I'm thankful to say. Paola, I've been following you for a while now and find so much comfort in your words and beautiful images. I think there are more reasons for people falling away from a channel beyond resonating with a creator's level of healing, tranquility, or life philosophy. Firstly, sometimes you get what you need and move on because you're just happily satiated. Secondly, Paola got married and will be welcoming a child soon, so not everybody is on the same page as creators in their raising a family era. Thirdly, creators who pioneer a YT topic often get surpassed by imitators of the genre-- so when there are more options, the crowd disperses a bit towards their favorites within that subject. I guess what I'm saying is that no heyday and salad days and height of popularity lays static in this world for long... it necessarily shifts and changes even for the workaholics that chase the numbers.

This is so interesting! Packed with those book style, calm and funny, full of character and beautiful laughter, vivid and hearful stories you wanna keep listening. I so agree with Paola, once you have the fundamentals of food, clothing and shelter firm then you can handle most anything life throws at you. When even one of the basics are taken away then I find I can't deal with anything in life. I only wish I could have been more self aware at a younger age and nurtured that, could have avoided a lot of suffering and illness. As an HSP/introvert our bodies at least scream at us if we don't self care but I think it takes a lot longer for the more dynamic/outgoing persons.

I love that you talked about the feeling of the grass being greener. I lived in the city for a long time, and i tried living in the country for a year. But January and February are pretty difficult! Now I live in an in-between place where i have neighbor-friends again and can run out to get groceries.

I get a sense if peace from her. Watching her videos are so inspiring. I am a lot older than her but a lot of what she does and said still resonates with me. I have learned to slow down and build a life of slow living. Paola has opened a few doors on how to relax and just be at rest and do the things that I love to do. Life gets tough sometimes but knowing how to slow down and be quiet and still helps to feel in control and be ok with what ever is happening in my life

I find peace living by myself, out in nature. I tried the city and work life. The only thing I enjoyed was the occasional meal at a quiet restaurant. The grass isn't greener elsewhere for me. I have everything I need. There has to be different answers for different people. There's a very wide list of things that makes the world survive. One person can only do so much. So there must be many different opinions, interests and desires or there'll be things not getting done!

I've always wanted to ask, how does she balance taking care of the home, making videos and creating art. I don't make videos, but managing the home and finding time to create is tough.
