I agree, less boring than monaco but those long straights account for nothing with those long right handers making overtaking very difficult. Still hoping for an exciting race!

Pretty dull track, no elevation change, just 1 unique corner (turn 3), and a very forgivable track for the drivers. I hope they turn this into a night race it'll be way better imo.

+Sami Mahmood I don't actually agree with it, I think it's a beautiful track with a few beautiful corners. The only thing that frustrates me is that there isn't any grass or gravel, only asphalt. Other than that, it's beautiful.

+turboboy1983 The only change they need is to get rid of these draconian engine rules which make it *impossible* to catch up Mercedes. With a limited amount of tokens any new manufacturer looking to enter the sport will look at Honda and Renault and decide it's not worth it. According to inside sources Renault is two years behind Mercedes, so of course they question whether they should leave the sport. The token system needs to go, at least for now. The modern tracks will never be as exciting as the challenging old tracks like Österreichring, Zandvoort, Long Beach and old Nurburgring. The good tracks you might have in mind either don't live up to FIA standards, are located in a "minor market" or simply cannot attract enough locals to watch F1. If the racing itself was close and exciting nobody would try to scapegoat the tracks themselves. Besides, we have only had one F1 race at Sochi so it's a bit too early to come to pass judgment.
