I'd say no purely because I feel the algorithm would hate you even more due to people having a "I've seen this before, I don't wanna see it again" effect

I say yes, more clips are always welcome. I'm subbed to many clip channels, so I often see the same clip 3-4 times a day, all of them different in their own way. If I'm remembering correctly, KZfaq Shorts get their own algorithm directed at phone users which is separate from the main YT algo, so there shouldn't be a conflict. Also as a primarily desktop viewer, I avoid YT Shorts (cos the player sucks, mostly.) so I rarely get to see clips from DM outside your channel. Besides, the more channels that talk about/mention something, the more likely it is to be pushed by the algo. One of the reasons Hololive is popular, is because 10 clippers post within an hour of each other something like: "Kiara said *this* and chat lost it".

I would say no just because youtube might do the youtube thing and penalize your viewership for it. Which is a shame because the more you could clip (even duplicates) would help get more people to know DM. Also don't worry about upload frequency. Do it at your pace so you don't end up hating it. Have fun first, worry about upload cadence later.
