Can confirm tried to learn French and instead learned to hate the French more than I already did. BTW did y'all know the reason the US got involved in Vietnam was due to the French who got soundly defeated by the Viet Cong and requested the US drop a nuke on them while they were still in Vietnam...The French at the time believed Duck n Cover worked, yes. The US then rescued the French and took the opportunity to try and spread democratic values by conquering N Vietnam, which didn't work out and the rest is History.
