Wow Vin brilliant. I finally got out yesterday to do some pellet testing with my new ( and only springer ) a 95 luxus in .22 at your suggestion of 25 metres. It didn't appear to be too pellet fussy but what do i know 😂. I struggled to cover the groups with 2p coin so clearly have a long way to go. At 77 years of age i hope I've still got time to improve. 😂😂😂😂

I had a HW95k for many years and the thing was nothing short of a epic gun, unbelievable solid performance from a spring rifle, never ever broke or let me down ever, pulled of some very very impressive shots with it. I used to love long range air rifle outdoor shooting, it was common for us to shooting beer cans on tree branches at 130m with a HW77 also was never a problem, extend the range next time push it to the limits you will be impressed. Good luck putting that fascination to test. I can only imagine shooting a pellet rifle at a 100 m would be very equivalent to shooting. Long range was something like a 308. I miss long range competition. Great video brother.

Distance is the drug ! We have a small bell in a shrub, at 87 meters. spent happy times ranging my 95L in .22 on paper below it, just to be able to hit it, rude not to do it. Growing old is the natural order, growing up is a life choice !

It will certainly test the consistency of gun,pellet, and shooter...in one sense I'm happy to be a bit house bound at the minute otherwise I'd be down the woods chasing the same unicorn 😁👍👍

Great to see Viny. A lot better when the winds aren't gusting like the last time. Our range isn't quite 100 metres. We have a goal post frame sized reactive target area full off reactive targets that the sub 12 ftLbs shooters use. Put a white board up and some pop cans in front to shoot at. Give them a good shake, and do some good shots hitting them at 100 metres. You'll be able to adjust your misses by seeing their point of impact on the white background board. Great video, as ever. Brilliant shooting vince would love to see the two types battle it out i only use pcp for repeatable shots if i want other wise its springers. What calibre is the 95 and what pellets I've been away again and now caching up on your videos thanks alan

I do something similar every so often, just to see if I can. I set steel gongs at sixty, eighty and a hundred metres and have a session just to see if my 97 (a .177, so a lot more wind drift) can do it. It can. Cheers Vin, great fun. That's not a bad group, if I may say so.

Bought a westhunter 4-16x44FFP the other day £125 very pleased so far. I have a Weihrouch HW77K and got a nice grouping at 50m prone position , I'm going to be working up to 100m got to try 😊

I had an R12 this week. 1 day and returned it boring. Give me my 97 any day. I do love my 10mtr styer pistol though. 1 handed

Great shooting mate, to save packing the rear mount and having your 95 dedicated for long range, you could try marking the post above the target for the crosshair and 12x, assuming the post is tall enough?
