Very cool. The bevel on the bit is interesting.... so is the hand support. Looks like you're getting excellent results !

Very well done. I like the support idea letting the flake fall off. Something I will give a try.

Thanks for showing jason. Also, how much salt do I have to put in the bathtub for your blades to float? I thought you said they were thin. They are still sinking. What's the deal?

Do you still use this copper set up for indirect or have you changed to aluminum for much of that as well?

I use both copper and aluminum now, depending on what flaking I'm trying to accomplish. I don't use it sticking out like this any more. I strike the delrin now

Thanks for the bit of info. Im going to step up my rod size to half inch and see what the results are. What did the final blade look like after thinning?

which piece? lol I ruined the blade in late stage, it now resides in multiple pieces on my knapping area floor,but thought this would make a decent demonstration
