But this time, instead of calling them out, I'm leaning into the idea and combining the concept from Shugo Chara known as "Character Change" with the kwamis from Miraculous. This idea has been on my mind for a while, so this video is me expressing an idea, a...what-if scenario.

If you ACTUALLY WATCH THE SHOW YOU WOULD KNOW THESE FACTS: 1 the miraculous have modes. Inactive(box) they stay the original color) Camouflage mode( when a character is chose it can hide itself. When in box the ladybug earrings are red with back spot. But as soon as marinette puts them on they become black which perfectly blends into marinette’s hair color. It even tells you who a fit and unfit user. It’s why Gabriel Ageste wears a candy cane tie! When Alya used the ladybug miraculous in hacksan they turned fire Amber which means Alya could have be ladybug. The big information dump was in the New York Special. Ladybug has to capture the akuma when it is there same goes for the amok that means the miraculous ladybug cure has to use the navigate energy to fix thingd

@@eddog6666 we have seen that's the magic evil thing doesn't need to be capture for the heal to work. Vs chole's parents when there that two faced head Hawk Moth just stopped the akuma, purified it on his own and the heal still works.

Unlock 🔒🗝 Fun fact, in the earlier development of the ML series Felix (Adrien's earlier concept) had the Miraculous Black cat ring that was curse that made it impossible for him to take it off, and would sometimes cause bad luck to the holder. So I suppose this character change idea was going to be part of the Miraculous series but at the end decided to drop that idea and keep it simple. So if they have kept this early idea, then you would have gotten another reason how similar Miraculous LB and Shugu Chara are to each other lol🤣 Also I have seen all the episodes (as frustrating as it was) and there was one episode that showed how Alya and Nino have been able to do extreme super agility in their civilian form. Which leads me to believe that the more you use the Miraculouses the more of its abilities you can absorbed into your body and can perform incredible skills witha Miraculous. But that's only the super agility, they cannot perform the powers of the Miraculous. Great work on this video, I can't wait to see the next one May God Bless you and keep you safe 🙏🏽

It could be possible that characters get more agility but Marinette uses her miraculous all the time and her clumsiness doesn't seem to be improving.

I did actually get the black cat miraculous' character change idea from the anime pilot x3 It would be cool if the show were consistent on whether or not the miraculous holders as civilians all had unique extra abilities DX Haha 😎

Unlock! Honestly this Idea is soo cool and I'm surprised Thomas didn't adapt it in some way. Like just imagine Marinette being super anxious because she has a very important projet that she wasn't able to make earlier because she's busy being a hero. Then BOOM! Character change! With tikki's personality she becomes calmer, being able to organize herself to actually get the job done, and sure, she pulled an alli nighter, but she managed to get the project done. I guess the pilot version had this Idea in mind with Felix's black cat ring giving him the bad luck curse, but it ended up getting cut so we'll never really know how a Character Change could have been done

I would have the fox make the user more clever like knowing how to manipulate others in their favor or knowing how to get out of a bad situation. I would also give them a fox tail.

That's a cool idea! I was working more off the idea that character change would do more super power stuff but at a much smaller scale, BUT your idea is much more aligned with Shugo Chara's actual character change rules in that one's personality tends to shift a bit. I was also going back and forth between the tail or the ears being the show for the fox lol So I like your idea! Thank you for sharing! 😁✨

I kinda disagree that the kwami personalities couldnt influence the story. I've kind of been looking into how the kwami's power relates to their holder and there are some interestint dynamics that could be explored. For example, each of the main 7's miraculous contrast to their holder. Marinette and Adrien are obvious but we have: Alya, the news reporter obsessed with honesty and the true identities of Ladybug and Chat Noir paired with the Kwami whose sole power is deceit and misinformation. Nino, the laid back partygoer who shurks responsibility for fun, is given a Miraculous focused on protection and has the most responsibility for civilians and the other heroes. Even with Gabriel and Natahlie, two mostly cold and calculated individuals are given kwamis of Emotion and Empathy, that force them to listen and understand the feelings of those around them. If we got more focus on this in the show with the other heroes and their kwami dynamics, it would really help flush out the supporting cast and kwamis

Ya know, that's a good point. It actually might be cool to see the holder's temporarily inherit their kwami's personalities. It could create interesting stories and interactions X3 You changed my mind on it =)

I agree that Miraculous has a *lot* of issues writing wise, since they try for an overarching story with development only to circle back to an episodic "villain of the day" formula. But i think what gets alot of people is that the show has alot of potential to be great, but just falls short one too many times.

Agreed. If most of them aren't always going to be active, then they can never get any development. So they only serve to make things needlessly bigger and more complicated.

My friend and I have been brainstorming a complete rewrite of Miraculous and had something like this in mind. It was mostly just miraculous holders starting to take on some of the personality of the kwami the more/longer they use its power. I also like your idea of the power bleeding through in minor increments as well. Also, the holderscan communicate with the kwami when they're transformed and not just become mute power sources. I too think there are far too many miraculous in the show as well. There are nineteen total in the main miracle box. And given how few times one is handed out for an episode, that's too many. We believe six or seven would be a better number for the main box. But the butterfly and peacock miraculous aren't included. In fact, we want them to be part of something else entirely. Also, the Chinese zodiac can still be there, just a separate faction. Look, it's a whole thing. Hawk Moth isn't even the main bad guy in the first "season" of this rewrite.

I think you have a good idea for a rewrite there ^_^ 19 is wayyy too many to be active at once when you don't dedicate enough time to all of them. Shugo Chara has a reasonably sized cast as well along with a lot of Shugo Chara. Shugo Chara excels in its character development, so we as the audience also get to know the Shugo Chara along with their people. Aside from Plagg, Tikki, Nooroo, sort of Duusu, and maybe Trixx, we don't know that much about the other kwamis nor have we had enough exposure to the miraculous in battle, so it is REALLY hard to care or even keep up with it all.

I think the show really made a strange decision with the Miracle Box. This is a box that was able to be stolen by an apprentice monk and yet it contains not only the two most powerful miraculous in existence but also the 12 Chinese Zodiac miraculous, which you'd assume would be in their own separate box like the American ones. Furthermore, if the box in the show has been brought to Paris from China, where is the French/European Miracle Box? And what happens in China if villains attack and there are no miraculous holders to defeat them?

7:30 I was thinking for the horse you could have them just be able to gain almost a radar like ability, where if they focus, they could see the general set up of an area or scan of a specific location and if anyones near monkey you could maybe instead of making people dissy it more throws someones "mojo" off. like if someone was good at drawing, they would get bad at it for a few minutes, or if they're sporty they would be off their game for a bit, etc. etc. also off topic but I feel the rooster miraculous' power should be changed, not the character change that is good I mean the actual straight up power, because that is just a bit to overpowered (basically letting them have any power they want). I think something like Command would work better, basically any item he's in contact with he can give a command and it will follow it ("this ball will always hit it's target, this cup will not brake, this miraculous timer will not count down, etc.)

Your ideas for the monkey and horse character change are very unique! I was just basing their character changes off of their already established powers, so I lacked a bit in creativity. so I appreciate hearing your ideas! Regarding the rooster miraculous, I have a similar thought. It is a very OP power that I will discuss in a future video >__

Unlock! This was a really interesting concept and I really like the idea of miraculous holders getting to use powers without fully transforming. Adds a whole new interesting aspect to the show. I mean, I don't think I like that the butterfly miraculous/kwami can do it without... any previous mention/showcase of this being a thing. And it makes me wonder if the others can as well and if so then why haven't they lol??? But a good concept is a good concept and I liked your takes on the other character changes.

I know I'm late but now I'm here to tell you that this was once a concept in Miraculous, during the time when Miraculous was going to be an anime it was established that characters could use their powers without being transformed, this is made clear in an illustration where Félix(Félix is actually the first version of Adrien) uses his cataclysm on a tree to make an apple fall on Bridghet's head; Bridghet is just a nickname that fans gave to Marinete in the anime version since the two have many differences, in this version Marinete is very explicit in her feelings for Félix and sometimes even runs after him to ask him out or talk to him, so in this illustration he uses his power to make the apple fall on her head because he is annoyed by her behavior, so yes, characters could originally use their powers without being transformed, there was also a kind of curse in the miraculous, whoever used the cat miraculous, for example, would have more bad luck and probably the opposite would happen with whoever used the ladybug miraculous, similar how currently Gabriel can feel negative emotions without being transformed while using the butterfly miraculous.

I actually knew about Felix's bad luck, which was what inspired the Character Change for the cat miraculous in this video X3 HOWEVER, I had no idea that all of the miraculous users were planned on being able to use their powers outside of transforming. That's cool tidbit! Makes the Shugo Chara parallel even stronger haha

Hey, Aloubell! I think your idea of the kawamis giving extra civilian powers is really cool! I think the physical attribute could be some sort of phantom glow effect or something with a distinguishing feature from the miraculous in question (like glowing tiger stripes for tiger, and intangible glowing horns for the ox). The color of the light would, of course, match the miraculous. As for whether it’s visible, I think it would be more interesting if it was as each user would have to be more cautious about how they use these abilities depending on how obvious it is. Who knows, you could even use this mechanic to do the big Ladybug and Chat Noir reveal.😏 It’s really a shame that they didn’t use the show to inspire a mechanic like this. It would be the key to unlocking the hidden potential of this show🗝 Also, your video was really good. Have a blessed day!🥰

I kind of got the bad luck thing from the anime pilot for Miraculous. Felix was cursed with bad luck because of his miraculous, so I jumped onto that. To be fair, I also said the black cat miraculous would also give a person the ability to minorly break things haha. There's only so much you can do with Plagg's destruction X'D

In your opinion though, I know you only read the show from the wiki but have you ever wondered if Miraculous had stayed a 2D anime? I know they scrapped it not only with Felix pv but because it was hard to track the spots in 2D. However, technology gets better and better everyday and I honestly would've loved to seen Marinette with her long pigtails again and her being braver with her confessions or asking hee crush on a date then the Marinette we have today. I sorta wish we still had Ladybug pv. Doesn't mean I don't love miraculous. I love it but I also sorta hate it with some of the things Astruc did with some of the characters and storylines.

It's one thing to change the animation style because of the spots. Its a WHOLE different thing to change so many aspects of the story itself as it transferred over to 3D. The show lost the edge it almost had and that's a bit frustrating. >.

I think as is, this wouldn't really improve the show, as transformations are very easy to attain and simply more useful in the end. What would be interesting however would be that the powers are manifested through the bond the holdder has with their kwami, and that the closer they get to each other, the more the holder will be able to tap into the kwami's powers, until they attain a full-fledged transformation, where the kwami and the holder are perfectly synced with one another and essentially becoming one. It would also allow the kwamis to shine more and give a reason for the holders to keep their kwamis with them, while not always appearing on screen because their power wouldn't be needed in every situation ever. It could also explain why Hawkmoth fails to beat them, as he enforces a transformation with the kwami, which not only doesn't allow for its full potential to be manifested, but also corrupts the holder and the kwami (which would be the origin of the peacock problematic. The user would've been so depserate to help their friends that they would've forced a transformation with the kwami without trying to deepen their bond. Something like they didn't trust the creatures and refused to open up to them. Their toxic forced relationship would've made the holder gradually grow insane. Maybe it could've brought her into a coma. Would've taken suicide or forced to kill as an option, but that would probably not pass in a kid's show rn.)

You're not wrong, there are too many. They either should have limited it to the initial seven, or to just the Zodiac Miraculous plus the Cat and Ladybug. Then they could have completely replaced the bad or overpowered Miraculous in the Zodiac with a few of the powers from the five mid-tier ones. For example, the Rabbit, Tiger, Goat and Rooster, at the very least, would benefit from this -- make Tiger into Illusion for the stealth aspect, the Rabbit or Goat could lean into their sensitive and empathetic Zodiac characteristics and replace the Butterfly, the other getting the shielding ability though they would play out a bit different than Shelter depending on the animal, and the Rooster replaces the Bee with some kind of Command ability. Even having a broken Rooster rather than Peacock can work, it just makes the only command that functions a paralytic ability, and Orikko never bothers to tell Gabriel that he can do more than that after he gets fixed. It leans well into Emilie secretly being a villain, too, since she was corrupted into being super controlling of Adrien as a child, "for his own protection."

2:15 well the idea of adding the kwami's personality to the miraculous holder actually did happen and was added only from the season 2 episode called "Sandman" cause it confirms that "bugaboo" refers to Tikki cause plagg loves calling Tikki with that nickname while Adrian himself was seen respecting that wish saying that he shouldn't call ladybug "bugaboo" don't know why the writers didn't commit to the idea with other heroes tho.

3:28 well i remeber tailers from the miraculous anime and part of it had Mari's earing glowed she kept her finger on it and then she was like in a phoe call with chat i think? Kinda like now when Mari takes the middle dot out of her yoyo and put it in her ear and also the other heros have that thing and they put there finger on it and talk to each other. Kinda like a walky talky if you ask me

I feel like its a super cool idea I love it a lot, I feel like it would be extra fun for the plot if the mcs couldn't control it because their new with the miraculous and don't have the same experience as their future selves! So they have all this going on and for instance Marinette might have ladybug antenna and she has to go through shenagins to cover it, Tempted to put something like this in my rewrite tbh.

The moment I heard the horse miraculous’ character change’s physical attribute (horse ears), I got reminded of Equestria Girls lol. Anyways, this concept is genius! I wonder what would be the Eagle Miraculous (from the New York special) and the Prodigious’ (from the Shanghai special) character changes would be. Though, the Prodigious would be difficult to do due to the fact that it’s basically shapeshifting into an animal based on a person’s value.

And I had the feeling the last few abilities was like.. rush out, the dog ability just the pig ability but better XD And there's other ability at first doesn't seem like anything but actually really op if you really think about it but they never been use again. I think the butterfly miraculous glowing in civilian form is because it's an adult power. But I also don't understand how they work exactly. It started out as using your powers without time limits and not de-transforming after you use your power, but now apparently it also grants you other powers? Like miraclonizer, when he got the eagle miraculous he was able to fly, and I read somewhere that it's cuz it was one of his wishes. So I guess the miraculous can grant an adult holder another powerif it matches the animal theme. But I am still genuinely confused.

I think it’s interesting that you come up with what if Miraculous can do character changes like Shugo Chara. I mean I think it is good idea for fanfics as a Shugo Chara AU but not in the show because of course the show would get more cringy and probably the fans would leave (actually jk they might like it). Like I feel like these two shows has their own way to portray but at the same time there are really similar to each other. Honestly since season 4 is finish but the plot is going so slow tbh like HM is still a fricken villains and they didn’t reveal to each other their identities yet. Yes it is stressful for all of us but at the same time I am hoping that next season is really good because now HM can used all the miraculous and akumatize people.

Character changes in Miraculous proper would probably just made the story more complex and make it even hard to balance everything, so I agree that the show doesn't need even more things it refuses to develop haha The show is moving at a snail's pace, but with how season 4 left off, it make sense to me that season 5 SHOULD be the last season with HM as the main bad guy. He honestly should have been dealt with a long time ago, but c'est la vie.

@@TheArtisticAloubell Well, I think it confirmed that HM will end in Season 5 which I am finally relieved because he's the freaken the worst villain so far like why the f are you keeping him so long if you're not going to develop him.🙄🙄 But I agreed that he should be gone like a couple of seasons ago lol. And the last 2 seasons will have a new villain which you probably know.. I know it might feel extra to you but.. the producer wanted to add more. 🤷♀🤷♀

@@SuperShana97 The writers kind of shot themselves in the foot a bit. Assuming the rest of the seasons take place with them still as teens, then we know that as adults they will deal with a new HM, so even if the show ends, we'll end with the knowledge that the fight isn't over...which is insane DX

It wouldn't even be as bad if all of the kwamis and their owners got more development, but they don't...they only fact or in like 2% of the show. So it's super overwhelming and underwhelming at the same time >__

Also, technically it would've been like that way for the miraculous anime or miraculous pv as the videos say on KZfaq. Astruc sorta did have the character change in mind (in a way) when he was doing the anime project before shutting it down in favor of miraculous today. From what I read Felix (before adrien existed) would've had bad luck on his side no matter what he did. The only way he could rid his bad luck was with a kiss from Ladybug.

I think I would have been more inclined to like the show if it stayed in its PV form--not just for aesthetic reasons (as I do like 2D better than 3D) but the story was a bit different too and seemed more appealing for me. Oh well...c'est la vie. I did actually get the idea of the Black Cat Miraculous' character change from the PV X3

Unlock.And yes - you wouldn't belive,but they have and some are shown : Snake miraculous in the Ephemeral or how this shitty episode was called make the time go back,and even longer than his user.Plag also have this - he used Cataclysm without Adrien,and it was like a thousand time more powerfull.So yea,they kinda have this,but it was used because [we need PLOT TO BE SAVED!!!!!!!!]

Yes, the kwami's can use their own powers, it'll just be chaotic, but I was thinking the people themselves would be able to use watered down versions of their kwami's powers while in their civilian forms~

I wonder how would the story be with Chloe with abilities, even without the Miraculous, if she would be a vigilante, be like venom, help out normally but with powers, be secret help with martial arts and because Fu is so secretive they I don't know if is a miraculous ability, pressure points or some unknown power they haven't been told yet, would help the world building with things still feeling like a mystery, how lost they are trying to find out who it is and when they find out how far will they go to stop her, Adrien saying stuff he shouldn't know to calm her down and try to make her understand or Ladybug making the charms to stop her or would have her own ladybug(butterfly) that would go inside her stoped her abilities or remove a part of her soul with the abilities. You know one of Chloe egg things would be a ladybug, like they never fully explore, i did but not like the Character Change, it would be so interesting if the show worked like that for them to do more. Chloe going as far as she thinks ladybug would go or have and bee egg thing appear after a falling with ladybug, like an opposite of the ladybug. Having two different sides both good and dark because of how she views ladybug.

you know long run wise, yea which cartoon had better character/story ideas when it comes to incorporating the Chinese Zodiac? for a quick convenience (just from 2 different cartoons), with just the snake sign, 1 superpower was invisibility &another was elasticity, &basically with MLB if the superpower ideas were to be based around on personality traits, well a trait for the snake sign can be about trying to correct their mistakes(case in point, Ayame Sohma from the anime/manga Fruits Basket), (therefore that somehow equals time travel?) even though, then that kinda sounds in character, (also the manga Genju no seiza, feels like the guardian beasts, are based around the Chinese Zodiac animals)

Fruits basket utilized the Chinese Zodiac thing WAAAAAY better haha Miraculous isn't even fully utilizing it to its full potential. Also adding in animals that are COMPLETELTY irrelevant to the Chinese Zodiac also waters down that theme >__

@@gumiinx-ku6676 alright then. SPOILERS FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO READ OR WATCH SHUGO CHARA. . . . . . The main endgame couple, Amu and Ikuto are 12 and 17 years old, respectively. They aren't officially together at the end, but they basically promised to be together when Amu gets older. This was back in the anime era where such age gaps weren't seen as a problem. But...it is problematic 😖 I love Shugo Chara, but they should have made Ikuto closer to Amu's age.

Yes! Watch a bunch of different analysis videos and see which style you like best. You can combine elements of different styles as well. The point is to watch a lot of them to get an idea of what you want to do and how to structure your video. ALSO experiment a lot. It took a while for me to find my video style and how I like to deliver my message. Don't get discouraged cuz it can take a while for your videos to be caught by a large audience. The KZfaq algorithm needs time to understand you and your content and who is the best audience for it. It helps to start with a list of things you want to talk about. Just brainstorm. You might not talk about them all, but it's good to have an idea. Make sure that if you do analysis videos that you mostly stick to analysis videos. The algorithm doesn't like switching up niches as it gets confused as to who your audience is. I also recommend watching videos by the channels Channel Makers and VidIQ as they have excellent channel growing strategies. 😁
