i'm certainly looking forward to the rest of these, always good to have quick info about stuff :P Also, where did the term "CyberMasters" come from? surely they'd be "Cyberlords" as a portmanteau of cybermen and timelords?

Thanks and I believe that is the official term used for them by the BBC, possibly because CyberLords already exist within the narrative universe as a separate name for specific hierarchy’s of Cybermen like Leaders, Controllers etc

You might have to augment your body with cybernetics to fully make sense of the multiple histories of the Cybermen.

I haven't listened to it yet but are the cybermen from the 9th doctor adventures an evolution of a preexisting species or a new one?

I believe they are an evolution of an existing species as they are described as being "displaced" in time, i.e. from an existing Cyberman group most likely

Were the n space/prime universe version of the cybermen on the verge of extinction due to the time war before the lumic cybermen arrived in n space? Only asking cause when i was a kid i assumed that was the reason why a parallel universe version of the cybermen appeared in new who

As far as I'm aware the N-Space Cybermen still very much existed, or even IF they were on the verge of extinction the point of parallel evolution means they would have come into being again. Pretty much most of the different variants of Cybermen seen throughout the series are sub-species rather than one general species and with their ability to create new Cybermen through conversion it means that whilst extinction isn't impossible, it's extremely unlikely.
