I mean... to be fair, the previous video did as well as their popular series like Pretentious Ingredients and Pass It On (~500K views) compared to their more regular videos that get about 350-400K. That is about a 30% increase. So it is quite a fair statement, though repetitive.

Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Muttertag - A German mother's day bread :P I was told that the vinegar works as a catalyst. You wondered about not giving the dough time to rise before putting it in the oven. There is probably a bigger portion of yeast in the mix and the added vinegar means more CO2/time, thus the more the bread rises. And it also dampens the "yeasti" taste...

We flattened the curve here, but the rest of the nation is in full melt down, and it's all going to come roaring back in NY before long because not everyone is wearing masks correctly- some not at all! And we can't legally shut down borders between states because it's all one federation. It's so bad. I don't know what I'd do without Sortedfood to look forward to twice a week. The balsamico vinegar sounds a bit weird to me as well, but I'm 100% sure we've put a lot stranger stuff in bread before, so... why not? Btw, my favorites are what we call “farmers bread“, it's usually a darker bread with a thick and crunchy crust in a round-ish shape. The first slice is the best piece, because it's all crust. 😍 So good.

Awesome video guys, I'm a bit desperate for clever little things to do around the house and you have provided yet again. My grandmother used to make her own sausage, I have vivid memories of ropes and ropes of sausage curing in her shower over the drying rack hanging from the ceiling. I'm pretty certain she showered under those garlands of drying meat, and that is why my mom and me never ate them. What a mental image.

I don't even eat meat but the Chorizo kit seems super cool! It's something you would never make otherwise, which makes it more unique than the bread mix for example, seems pretty straight forward and easy, and the price isn't bad either! I'd totally gift that to someone who has an interest in cooking!

It’s only hard to stomach in places where organ meat is considered gross. Traditional haggis is various organ meats, mixed with oats, and seasoning, encased in a sheep’s stomach lining.

James had a good point concerning the motivational aspect of such kits. Any home chef has things like making their own cheese or sausage on their mind. But you often postpone such challenges, until the planets align and all you need got dropped in your lap.
