On the first leg we had Reiss Nelson instead of Leandro Trossard, Jorginho and Fábio Vieira instead of Partey and Martin Ødegaard and Jakub Kiwior instead of Gabriel Magalhães. And on the second leg, we weren't on our usual 4-3-3 but a 4-4-2 with most of the same players off bench except with the return of Gabriel Jesus and Takehiro Tomiyasu instead of Ben White. So that's 6 off our usual starting 11, it can't really say it's the main team. However, Sporting were incredible and kudos to them for the match they gave, i was seated on the edge of my seat for the entire second leg.

And even if the PL has the highest overall quality for now, the top teams in the other leagues are still highly competitive in Europe. Bayern Munich, AC Milan, Real Madrid etc have much more history and accolades than say City or Tottenham.

Fiorentina and Nice trying to save their season? Alkmaar getting their hopes up in a really tight Erdedivisie season?
