Happy Friday, friends!
Today is a different kind of video from what I normally post now, but I wanted to share my newly completed sketchbook!!! If you can believe it, I haven't filled up a sketchbook since my last sketchbook tour almost two whole years ago! So, it feels like a very big accomplishment to have finished one & I am very excited to share it with you! ✨ I hope you enjoy it! Defiantly grab a hot or cold drink & relax or join along while I casually chat through this little, cozy tour!

You inspire me to create Randi! Art has always been somewhat of an escape for me. I was an art major in college before switching to early childhood education. It taught me so much! Thank you for sharing your lovely art with us! You have the heart of an illustrator. Those foxes need a narrative. I would love to meet them in book form. ♥️

Ooh really love the nature insect page and the big watch page, so much colour and life 😊 it’s also good to see the less finished pages and the ones you didn’t enjoy too as that’s the reality of regular art and a reminder of the important part of the process.

I love thr empty space you use I your composition. I also love all your woodland creatures. New Zealand doesn't have any woodland creatures so I love feeling the whimsy of them through art. We do have a lot of pretty good native birds. I think you'd make some wonderful studies of them!

This is such a beautiful book you have made! I love your use of colors and all of the subject matter. Two of my favorites are the 4 pages of pencil drawings of the animals and plants 14:26 - 14:55, and the 1st page you did with the 2 swans (a peachy pastel background, and the surrounding leaves) 16:37. That one looks so dreamy and reminds me of beautiful Chinese brush paintings. Thanks for the inspiration and keep on creating! 🦝

This was so nice to see so much of your art!! I love all of them but especially (in order) the tree man, the forest scene with the fox, the pastel fall scene with the house, and the swans with the roses 😊 I hope you make them into prints I love them so much!
