My 1997 CR-V is still in perfect shape: 24 years old, 188,000 km. At this rate, I'll be driving it forever.

I've had my 01 crv for about a year now. I was recently told about the picnic table, but mine is missing. Decided to look into what other features it has and you have blown my mind. I had no idea I was driving around a whole tent 😂

My first car was one of these, ended up getting rid of it not too long after as my mother thought it was unsafe. Outta the house now and I'm back to looking for one! I wanna lift it and do a comprehensive VTEC build for it, a full B20 retrofit.

Love our CRVs, we've had 3 of these models! I so wish they didn't discontinue these models! The newer models are really just cars not SUVs.

In the back trunk barn door, the small compartment I believe held the jack down with the straps but the hunting knife will do lol. Love the videos! It's hard to find people who love their CRV's and show all the fun innovative stuff Honda used to do!

Oh man thank GOD i found this video I just purchased a 1999 CR-V and it has the picnic table but I almost threw that door holder away something told me not is there for a reason but I did not know about the bed me and my wife are gonna love staying overnight at the beach now can’t wait thanks again

Took mine out camping this past summer. Loved it. I did have to drive up on some rocks and wood blocks to level out the bed seats.

I just snagged my 2001 for $500 bucks. Cooling fans weren’t working, but 2 censors, thermostat and radiator later, “steal”. Lol Thanks for sharing all the little tricks. But, that freaking I cannot find. Lol anyone have catalog or aftermarket site would appreciate the heads up. Great video.

Have 2 of them. 2000 red/2001 black One is a daily driver. Another in restore mode, pulling the engine to refurbish. Both have zero rust. Daily driver has 340,000 miles with original engine and transmission!

Omg yes! Thank you for sharing this video! I’ve had my 2004 CR-V for about 5 give or take years. I never knew that the seats could go down for a bed. While packing for a camping trip I accidentally found the table, too bad there’s no secret chairs or anything else... I am a bit bummed that who ever had my car b4 me took out the under seat storage and put some rinky dinky amp instead. Thank you again for sharing..

CRV RD1 is the best bang for your buck. Honda best cheap reliable truck ever! Can't speak about the newer generations but RD1's is such a great little truck. I went thru 2 motor swaps already shell has 320k miles. Had my 2001 since new

Just bought a 2000 CRV EX manual with AWD. Bone stock with only 93,000 miles for 2 grand. A few small dings and surface rust to take care of but I’m excited to take it out camping/hunting.

Thank you my Mechanic and I found the table of my 2004 Honda CRV by mistake which lead me to see what else it has to offer. Great Video so informative. Oh yeah and the ice holder so awesome I need that for trips out of town to doctor and when purchasing meats God willing

a little late, but the clock can just be popped out. If your lucky all you have to do is re-solder a connection and its good to go.

I have a missing cover for a 2006 Honda CRV. I don't know if the 2006 has the same thing, but if it does, it makes sense that the previous owner would take it.

My Honda Odyssey does the bed thing too, usually set up the passenger seat that way. Tilt the back seat up and keep legs extended out the whole trip.

Omg lol we have the picnic table in our break room at work. I thought it was a custom made one out of a CRV or PILOT trunk, I knew they had table style trunk liners but never knew they actually had stands to be used as a picnic table

It still bums me out that my 06 rear seats don't flatten out. They barely recline. But with some doing om sure I could still sleep in it with little issue.

Whaaaaat?? I hvae a 98 CRV and my parents got it in 99 or so, and I never knew the seats could lay down and fit together like that. Do you have a "gold edition" though? I think not. I painted the chrome coloured H logos on the front and back with transluscent gold paint and it now it's the "gold edition". I have the same vinyl seats but they were cracked so I covered them with lime green marine vinyl. I popped off the door panels and covered the little trim panels that house the door levers. That really makes it pop! I wish I could upload a photo.

I tried to turn it into a bed and I can't get the headrest in the driver's seat to come off....it has no adjustment button. There's nothing between the headrest and the seat itself.
